It's been a wild week in the world and Mark and Bobby are here to break it all down as best they can for you. 

First off, if you didn't notice the city of Baltimore is going nuts and rioting over the death of Freddie Grey, a young man that had his neck broke and spine fractured by police as he was being arrested.  The Mayor of the city if saying things on tape and then turning around and stating it didn't happen...but it did.  Plus you have people starting fires and mothers beating their kids butts on national TV trying to stop them from rioting.  It is an amazing thing to watch and Mark & Bobby put their opinions out there about the entire fiasco and where they see it going from here.

Next it seems someone is always trying to kill off the status quo and car companies are no different. The Big Boys have decided to envoke DMCA rules cause your car has a computer and Bobby thinks this is ridiculous.  Mark plays devils advocate (as only he can) and discusses if making it illegal to tinker/work on your car will fly in the long run.

Finally, Mark has a letter from a listen but not before he plays a game of Sex Statistics he found earlier on the interwebz. It gets deep and interesting as Bobby is grilled about the average times Women have had sex in their lives vs. Men...and many other questions.  Play along as you listen and see where you sex knowledge lies.

We as a society need to stop creating moments of hostility so we can soapbox in public for no reason other than our own voices.  Well this is the main topic of the newest epsiode of the Q.  In California, there was a situation going down and out of nowhere a lady starts filing the police and yelling at them for doing their job.  Of course this leads to cumbaya songs and everyone happy.....right?  WRONG! It leads to a phone being confiscated and destroyed, so we will discuss this further on the show.

Also, Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao are set to wage battle the first weekend of May in Las Vegas, but during his ramp up for the fight, Floyd claimed that he is equal to or better than Muhammad Ali.  This of course takes everyone but Mark by surprise and the two discuss the virtues of Floyd and whether his background and merits have earned him the ability to make that statement.

Finally, its been a while and Bobby has upped his game as the two bring back the hot game of GAME ON/ GAME OFF.  Both Mark and Bobby bring a couple APPS/Websites to get you familiar with and then Mark goes for the jugular singling out a section of society that tends to wear a specific look as if it is still cool.

Well the business of media in the US has become quite the convoluted and dirty pool. With that comes the potential for miscommunication and things to show up in multiple places.  After hearing a morning show in STL read some very similar (almost exact same wording and sentences) letters as Mark & Bobby presented 3 weeks earlier on this here show called the Q, the two decide to sit down and discuss the unwritten rules of radio/media and how you shouldn't do that.  

Also, Aaron Hernandez, the former Patriot football player, has been brought up on a Life sentence for a murder he was involved with/did in 2013. This brings about a discussion of sports and some of the more interesting topics such as the famous Back to the Future 2 forecasting of Cubs vs. Miami in the World Series of 2015.  

Finally Mark and Bobby are prompte by a tweet from Ricky Gervais to take on and discuss the world of Big Game hunting.  Recently a female names Rebecca Francis posted some unflattering pics of her laying next to dead giraffes that she hunted. When it was brought to attention by Gervais in a tweet, it create a firestorm of controversy with Francis getting death threats and being ostracized by people in her own community and throughout the world.  But the only thing getting publicity is the hate coming from animal activists towars Francis...there is another gun loving side to this that is now being equally as hateful and Mark illuminates that with this Discussion. 

Well Well Well...seems as though the Juggalos come out to play on the newest episode of the Q.  Matt McDarby a professional wrestler and verbalist jumps on the show to talk with Poducer Bobby and Mark about growing up in the STL area and more specifically the Dog Town section of St. Louis.  

Then the guys switch gears and start discussing the importance of ICP to the music industry.  Mark goes into detail about his past dealings with Psychopathic Records and Matt loses himself discussing his favorite songs by the group.  Plus everyone jumps on to talk about the "gang" aspect that plagues the fanbase called Juggalos and whether it is justified or not.

Its also Roller Coaster Race time again and Mark describes to Matt what the Race is all about and how Mark and Dan Walsh looked like a gay couple at last years event.  

Finally Mark and Bobby really get deep on discussing the situation out of South Carolina where a police officer shot and killed a man running away from him on Video.  The world is outraged and so is Mark and Bobby.  But Mark discusses the context of how this should be view and how that context led to a heated discussion with a well known underground rapper on Twitter.   Just because you're offended doesn't mean you're right.

On this episode of the Q, Mark and Producer Bobby sit down with Paul Huddleston and discuss the Indiana Religious Freedom bill that has the entire country in a tizzy.....and rightfully so.  Mark takes on bigots and people that hide behind religion as their saving grace.  The guys discuss the pizzeria owners that are using the new bill to defend their position to NOT SERVE gay couples.  Plus there is discussion about all the potential ability for the law to become a slippery slope and tumble into other risky legal endevours. 

Then Paul, who is an educator at a major college in the St. Lous area, dsicusses what coming back to school to teach the week after the situation in Ferguson, MO.  Since he is college educator, he was dealing with mostly young men and women in the 18-25 age range and mostly urban based students at that.  

Finally Producer Bobby puts his finest mark on the show when he gets into an argument with Mark about the word he is using in a sentence and how it is not the right word.  This sets off a googling debate to figure out the definition of the word Bobby is trying to use and how it applies to the conversation at hand...needless to say it doesn't go that well.

Well change is in the air for the Q and Mark and Bobby travel down to their closest affiliate in Illinois to do the show from the studios of 1420 WINI!  But bound to be a great show, the guys reach into the past to bring back someone that hadn't been on the show for a year and a half.  Joey Lawrence comes back onto the Q to discuss whatever is on the minds of Mark and Bobby....

First up is the discussion of what has been going on with Joey.  Joey has gotten involved in selling vapor and e-cigs.  This leads to a great discussion about the business of Vapor and its recent popularity in the past couple years. They also discuss the inherent risks that has been talked about regarding health and what is and isnt known.

Then Mark and Bobby go toe to toe once again on religion.  Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty once again put his foot in his mouth regarding atheism and how those people that follow atheism need to have their heads cut off and raped.  Horrible as it is, Mark lays into Phil and this leads to a discussion about the bible and when things were written in context to what people believe.  Very interesting discussion.

FInally the guys talk about some letters from the listeners and specifically about one from a father that is unhappy with how sports in general is looked at as a way to build character in children.  Bobby thinks the father is way off in his assessment and decides to call out the pussification of Merica, while Mark plays devils advocate and tries to get to the real reason that Bobby is unhappy.  

Funny man Jake Ashlock joins Mark and Producer Bobby for the show to discuss some of the biggest things in current affairs.  

First up, Bobby is unhappy with how a interaction with another STL radio personality went down online. Mark and Jake play devils advocate for how it looked on both ends of the situation and try to help Bobby see the silver lining on the clouds.

Then the discussion quickly turns to the Robin Thicke and his recent lawsuit loss regarding his song "Blurred Lines" and how similar it sounds to a song by Marvin Gaye (per the lawsuit).  Mark, having worked in music for 20 years discusses how slippery a slope this creates for other artists from here on out.  Plus they discuss the potential retroactive things that could come from this.  And throughout the show, this discussion rears up a few times.

Next the guys tackle the dumbest move by a group of politicians in years, as they tackle the 47 Senators that sent a letter to Iran encouranging them to not listen to THEIR Commander in Chief! Then Mark takes on Hillary-Gate (sigh) and the fact that she had an email address outside of hers that is given to be used by the White House and it's staff. Mark tries to explain the ludacris nature of people turning this molehill into a Mountain, when there are obviously bigger fish to fry.

Finally, Ashlock hits the Hot Seat and discusses some of his more intimate backgroud. Plus there is OVERTIME where the Moral Dillemas are presented again, and find out if Producer Bobby through his family under the bus again at all.

Jefferey Wilson is an accomplished SAG actor and the producer of the newest TV show in the STL called THE HOT SEAT w/ Mark Bland!  So Jeff decides to jump on the show today and promote the Hot Seat while also taking on the barrage of HOT SEAT questions he gets later in the program.

But that is just the start.  Mark and Producer Bobby bring up and start discussing the police/citizen interaction video from Texas where a man was dressed in the Kilt with a AR-15 over their shoulder and camera rolling.  Mark and Jeff are at odds behind proper etiquette in 2015 as a person vs. the right to bare arms.  This leads to another producer named Hoop joining the conversation via phone to defend the 2nd Amendment.

Next the Dept of Justice released their final findings in the Ferguson situation from August of 2014 regarding the shooting of Mike Brown.  They state Darren Wilson has no case that can be brought against him and that their are dirty things in the water at the Ferguson PD.  Producer Bobby, Jeff and Mark tackle the more egregious claims from the DOJ report and discuss them in full...

Finally all the constitution talk from the main show carries on over into the OVERTIME. Does our constitution need an update?  Everyone discusses in the overtime section this week!

This episode of the show is packed out with entertainment goodness that can not be denied in the least.  First off Mark and Producer Bobby welcome comedian HD Reeves to the show to talk about comedy and entertaining the masses. HD discusses his upbringing in North St. Louis County and describes some of his more memorable plights growing up with molatov cocktails. 

Then Gabe Lozano the CEO of Lockerdome joins in to discuss his successful sports based social media company and their success. It quickly becomes apparent that Gabe is also from North County St. Louis which brings about even more discussions about the area made famous last summer in the Ferguson situation. Gabe talks about the differences between NY and STL since his companies inception.

Next up is John Wilson, the founder of the Razzie Awards in Hollywood that gives out the award for worst picture every year.  John started the awards as a part of a dinner party 35 years ago and hasn't looked back since. John and Mark go toe to to discussing the worst movies over the past few decades and Mark makes John defend the decision to call Sandra Bullock out as worst actress the same year she gets Best Actress at the Oscars for blindside.

Finally its February and that means Black History Month...something came to Mark's attention this year during Black History month and he needs to say his peace on it.  Plus Overtime with Reeves and Bobby and all the normal stuff that makes you geekout on the show.

Another week and another thing on the bucket list crossed off for Mark and Producer Bobby of The Q.  On this weeks episode the guys welcome back Tyler Crandall to crackwise and do a breakdown of his well known "North County Song" on You Tube. But before that all happens, Bree Ferrario of Mystic Valley joins the show to analyze the dreams of everyone in the studio.  Mark and Bobby have been talking about this for a long while and they are finally getting around to breaking down why a WereWolf chased Mark around in his head for 20 years of his life.

Then Mike Calvin, station manager of 1380 the X joins Mark and everyone, as Mark starts in on his rant about people and their Peanut allergies that don't exist. Mike comes in to give his take on the situation and hear out other things Mark brings up to discuss down the same road as peanut allergies.

Finally the Q takes some phone calls from some listeners and Mark discusses a specific aspect of the St. Lous Mardi Gras that he was involved in. The two Matt's from Baconfest threw a blowout Mardi Gras Party and Mark went.  What he didn't realize was that a topic of discussion about awkward social media realtions was going to come out of it. On this episode of the Q, we are fresh off the Grammy awards and the moment when Kanye  decided he might interrupt someone again. Should he have interrupted Beck like he planned on?  Well Mark certaintly thinks so and discusses it on the show.

Also, right off the bat, Marina Squerciati of the TV show Chicago PD on NBC jumps on the line with the guys to discuss the new season and her entry into the world of acting.  But when Mark finds out shes from NY, he starts askng those questions that only New Yorkers can answer.

Next up is Tony Cabral of www.acefilms.com to talk about his yearly jaunt to Sundance Film Festival.  Find out who was Tony's big sighting of the year, while out doing his typical work of the Egyptian Theater where he runs the midnight screenings.
Then Mark, Producer Bobby and Tony discuss the Oscars.  All giving their picks for who they think will win.  Follow along and find out.

Finally, there is a letter from the listener that is tough. So who else but the two Matt's join in to talk about the finer intricacies of relationships and love!  Plus they discuss the Mardi Gras party coming up.

Mark and Bobby are fliying solo today after their guest no shows for the Q. So the two guys are never short on thngs to talk about and this time is no different.

First off Mark goes on an epic rant regarding the morbidness of the Super Bowl commercials and how Nationwide specifically needs to stay in their lane and not try to open up "conversations".  

Next, Mark and Bobby discuss the ISIS murder of a Jordanian fighter pilot killed in a 22 min long video where he is eventually set on fire in a cage to execute him.  Mark has some unique feelings on this video and what it is telling the attention span lacking people of 2015.

Finally, since their guest decided to no show, Mark has a Hot Seat that needs to be fulfilled and Bobby has never been on the Hot Seat at all.  So Mark puts Bobby through the ringer. See what he has to say on the newest episode of the Q! 

On this episode of the Q, we walk back into the pro-wrestling world for a episode and it doesn't disappoint.  First up, Lucy Mendez the Queen of Sass, comes back on to join in for the pro-wrestling talk.  But not to be outdone, fresh off his ROH Debut, midwest Pro-Wrestler Dirty Jake Dirden joins us live in studio to discuss: being a Dynamo Pro Champion, What wrestling in ROH was like and his life before Wrestling. 

Then we kick the show into high gear discussing wrestling with our guest, former WWE 3 Time Tag Team Champion, Trevor Murdoch.  Murdoch joins in to talk about his release from WWE, the early days in the STL wrestling indie scene and eventually gets to a story from overseas of how he saved Randy Orton from a issue and got arrested for it.  Find out what happened!

Finally Vaughn Johnson of Philly.com wrestling taps into us to discuss his recent attendance of WWE 2015 Royal Rumble in Philadelphia. Producer Bobby, Lucy, Mark and Jake break down their opinion of the best PPV of the year for the company (next to Wrestlemania) and where the eventual road leads to Wrestlemania 31 in just a few months. Everyone has an opinion and it shows as Lucy gets called out by caller for her statements and Dirden sits on the Hot Seat to give you a peak behind the proverbial curtain.

Travis Cook, the Q resident Tea Party expert and extremist, joins the show to discuss the State of the Union. Ofcourse, Travis can't hold back and once again this leads to an egregious claim and extreme viewpoint shared by almost no one. But then again that is why they call him America's EVIL Genius....or maybe in this case just Evil.

Then Tim Padgett, the General Manager of the Midwest Professional Basketball Association, comes on the program to talk about thier new League and to find out that he shares a little bit of history out of Arkansas State University with Mark.

Finally DeflateGATE is the word of the week and Mark, Producer Bobby, Dan Walsh, Travis Cook and Tim Padgett discuss the scandal that is swirling around the 2015 Super Bowl. Are the New England Patriots cheaters or is this another situation getting blown out of proportion. Plus Padgett offers up a opportunity that Mark and the crew can't pass up. Anthony Cabral makes his long awaited LIVE in studio return to the Q just in time to discuss the Charlie Hebdo situation with Mark and Producer Bobby.  Mark decides to make play and give a very direct and honest opinion of the situation that seems quite polarizing to say the least. Anthony and the guys discuss the background of the famed French satire magazine and how long they have been on the radar of radical islamic terrorist groups.  

Also, a former guest and friend of the show named KOBA also phones in announced to Mark (a Producer Bobby Special) to discuss his new book available on Amazon called "1000 Facts about Sex and Love".  KJ (his author name) breaks down what led to writing this book and some of his more favorite facts in the book. This leads to Bobby and Tone going out of their way to find other hilarious sex facts that they discuss.

Finally Mark is the bigegst defender of Ted Nugent, even though they politcally differ.  After interviewing him a few years back, Mark became a fan of his no holds barred opinions and verbal tirades.  But eveidently, Uncle Ted has stepped over the line when he decided to attack mentally handicapped people and their troubles.  While promoting his upcoming appearance on the new Sarah Palin Show Uncle Ted let go with some not so nice things and this grabs the ire Mark and the crew. Definitely a hot button issue.

Plus the guys do a little OVERTIME leading to Tone talking about his relationship and how he met his girlfriend.  Real Radio, Real Honest....It's the Q!

So the year of 2015 starts off on a sobering note.  Stuart Scott, the great sportsanchor of ESPN, passes away from cancer at the age of 49.  So Andy Echele jumps onto the show to discuss this.  The guys discuss what Stuart Scott meant to them and how the world of ESPN styled sportscasting goes. Including Andy breaking out his old school phrase he used for Combat Showcase.

Next Mark goes on one of his famous rants about Walmart and the inability of our society to learn from simple things and act accordingly.  Evidently they don't ptu enough energy drinks of a certain style in the local Walmart cooler cases and this sends Mark on a tirade about the cooler cases and other places/situations that no one thinks about until after the fact.

Finally the crew gets into a discussion about how Mark is noticing more people since the Ferguson riots complaining about "White Privilege" and what it means to three white people who could potentially be accused of it at moments notice. Also, Mark discusses his some of his stereotype pet peeves and who should, or shouldn't, be allowed to do certain things.  This brings out everyone throwing their issues about many people out in the open. On this episode of The Q, Mark is treated to a special surprise as Producer Bobby brings back all the great hosts and guests from The Q's past to pay tribute and hang out for the 200th Episode of the show. After 4 full years and multiple locations for episodes, the 200 comes in strong from the studios of 1380 KXFN and 1380thex.com .

First up is all the former co-hosts that Mark has had through the years at different times.  Anthony Cabral calls in from his home in Chicago to discuss the earliest episodes that happened at Virtual Entertainment Radio, as well as their past running of Primetime with Mark and Tony. But Tony seems to be calling in from a Frito's bag since there is some distortion while he is talking with the crew.  Then Mark goes around the table to Andy Echele, Dan Walsh, Lucy Mendez, Matt Krueger and Justin "Deyemofo" Deming describing how they got involved with the show.

From there the guys welcome in some of the past great guests that have been involved with the show. First up is Lia Weber, the winner of TLC's Next Great Baker that brings in a anniversary cake for the crew.  Joining her is Matt Guillot and Chef Johnson of BaconFest STL who graced everyone with some delicious hamburgers and bacon wrapped minis that were devoured quickly. Mark does a quick round of the Kenny Kinds Hotseat with them and can't help but tear into Guillot when he discusses some of his answers.

Then round two when Sam Arcobasso, the STL Porn King, his partner Corey and North County song writer Tyler Crandall jump on the mics to discuss what they been up to and to do their round of Hotseat....but not before Justin Deming and Andy Echele square off verbally to discuss the differences in their views on Ferguson and some other lightly sprinkled controversial issues. 

Finally its everyone together discussing the entire history of the show and some of their more fond memories of being on the show.  All this happens with a dose of the Year End FOTO.COM Q AWARDS for 2014!  Plus you get OVERTIME where everything rattles completely off the rails.  What more can you ask for in the 200th episode.  We really don't know!

On this Pre-Xmas episode of the show the guys have a lot on their plate. First up is Danielle Muscatto of Athiests.org to discuss all the billboards they put up in 5 major US cities proclaiming the need to skip church this holiday season.   Danielle jumps in immediately explaining why the need for the billboards was necessary and the personal reasons of how he came to be atheist himself.  But this doesn't sit well with Dan and he decides to chastize and tear into Danielle questioning the purpose for why the billboards are important in the first place. This leads to a longer discussion about homosexuality, racial inequality and atheism as it pertains to peoples feelings and Mark brings it right back around to circular FAKE OUTRAGE.

Nesxt the guys are a big fan of St. Louis author D.J. Gelner and his amazing books of fantasy and sports.  Well DJ has a new one called "Quantum Zoo" and comes on to catch up, talk about atheism and many other things that come to his mind...including zoos.  He gets into a interesting discussion while on the Kenny Kinds HOTSEAT with Producer Bobby and has an all around good time.
