This week we put the focus back on politics because the whole world ACTUALLY TALKS ABOUT THAT, not nobodies... John Scheper is back to discuss all aspects of this situation with Donald Trump. Currently embroiled in a hush money trial, Trump is trying everything to make it look like he matters to the world. Giving fake keys to the White House, farting and making people ill with their smell...the former president is in rare form currently. But with all this happneing, is this the best two options for our country currently? Scheper provides some insight into this stance and position across the country.

It's been a littel while since we did a ranker review game, couple episodes, so we jump back in with this weeks entry: Best Movies based on True Stories.  There are some amazing movies based on the true events that took place in life and we are here to see if this Ranker list holds up. But off the top of your head...what is the best true story turned into a movie? Is it Blackhawk Down...maybe? Tune in and find out....

Finally Mark and Jason went to the AEW Dynasty PPV and after years of being critical of Tonky Khan and the AEW product....find out what Mark and Jason thought of the PPV and if it is worth your time to look back into AEW once again. Corbin discusses how people view him and the aspect of influence that people don't realize...it is a business.

Then All Elite Wrestling star Willow Nightingale joins the show to discuss their upcoming PPV event called Dynasty that will be in St. Louis. Willow discusses her first match with Sammy Pickles, how she likes the wrestling business and how she found her significant other while wrestling on the indie scene!

Jenna roberson returns to the show to discuss abortion rights and the laws of the 1800's! Yeehaw!

First up Mark is pissed that there is stupidity abound in the republican party and the way they present themselves. They are starting to turn the corner into weirdness and lertting it be seen in more places publicly. This leads to a discussion about Abortion Rights in Arizona since they passed a law that was adopted before the territory was even a state. It's so ancient in it's device, the peeps discuss!

It's time for another round of the best TV Theme Songs Tournament of Pop Culture on this episode. Last time we were amazed at the names that did not appear on the list and hopefully this time they did better! Mark, Jenna and Jay break down all the nostalgia and work their ways to a final victor in this tournament!

Finally, there is a guy named Dexter Reed in Chicago that was shot and killed by police. He was shot at almost 100 times and the family is up in arms over Excessive force. Jenna and Mark go back and forth over the situation where Mark is mad that republican social media people are using George Floyd's name to attach to the situation and claim there some crossover. The video is available on google and the internet, so you go look and decide!

Marcus Boston returns to have his character analyzed and to discuss the local elections with the guys!

First up it has been a rough few weeks for the guys. They have been interviewing candidates for school baords and senators and all the fun. But the time for talk is cheap and we are not here to guild the lily! The QNow on KYRO brought candidates on to the show to interview and promote. Their opponents didn't like that Mark and Jason do not bend easily to dumb whims. When all was said and done, The QNow and Mark/Jason chose the correct people that WON their elections, while other local radio and media companies chose the losers and were wrong.

Next up Marcus is back and Mark has a special question for the diva! But this leads to a discussion about the Ivan Drago way that Marcus is approaching a simple thing. This leads to another question about the lottery to see if Marcus can regain some composure in the situation....tune in to find out if he ever does and what was his reasoning for that stance.

Finaally, there are a lot of great action movie franchises, but which one truly stands above the rest. They have another ranker list of franchises and they break it down to see if the list holds weight or if it is another list that is busted. You decide!

Mar 22, 2024

We are hot and heavy into the election cycle for 2024. Primaries have happened, people complaining on social media too...all the necessities to let you know everyone is chomping at the bit to be recognized and voted into positions! Well this is no different in Missouri either!

First up Joanthan May returns to discuss peeing on people for no reason and then tells an amazing story of a dream he had! This leads to a discussion about Donald trump and his inabilities to pay his legal debts to the people he has wronged. This means Trump is not even HALF a Billionaire. He doesn't possess the liquid money to pay off the debts he has accrued and his own team is the one telling the judges.

Next the gents welcome Carolie Owens and Steven Blair who are running for Francis Howell School Board. Carolie is a veteran educator of over 30+ years who has worked for multiple school districts and has put in tenure to know the lay of the land. Steven is a pastor that is also an educator and they are trying to pull this conservative agenda out of the hands of the current board memebers, and right the ship. Carolie and Steven get detailed in their plight and why you need to vote for people with a grounded approach.

Finally, a surprise Tournament of Pop Culture. There are a ton of TV theme songs and we could easily (and might) do another 16 songs to battle it out. But this time around we have a random pull of TV theme songs and we are going to see which one reigns supreme by the end of the show!

Mar 9, 2024

On this episode of the show, Courtney Dowdall and Roy Kasten join the show to discuss the problems with local radio station KDHX in St. Louis.

First up Roy and Courtney sit in with Mark Bland and Jason Kull to discuss the problems that have been happening in St. Louis Community Radio Station KDHX 88.1. Since 2019 it seems things have not been going swimmingly at the station. Many VOLUNTEER DJ's and station members have been fired or left after dealing with the head of the station Kelly Wells and Board head Gary Pierson over decision being made on behalf the volunteers without their consent. Mark has his own story of merit that shows making bad decisions has been part of the station for years, but this new decision seems to be attacking the very fabric of what makes the station work and tick!

Next up Super tuesday 2024 came and went with a whimper. As expected, Trump continues to make other criminals who haven't done their crimes yet, feel good about themselves. Noted that Nikki Haley dropped out of the race after winning Vermont (which should be a red flag for Trump) but not before refusing to endorse him...and going as far as to label him a loser.

Finally, what are some of your bad habits that you think others notice? Well a study was done to tell us about some eating and food habits that turn others off a lot! Slurping your soup....eating off someone elses plate? Plus remember those old infomercials and the exercise equipment they were always hawking to everyone? Well there is a story that popped up and sent Mark and Jason down memory lane...come join them for the ride!

Mar 1, 2024

On this episode of the The QNow,  Jonathan May shows back up and we decide to break down everything going on in the world around us.

First of Donald Trump has been a very bad boy and has now had punishments handed down to him financially. Unfortunately Trump feels that he doesn't have to pay those and it said that he's only going to pay $100 million of the 400 plus million that he deserves to pay. The gentleman talk about Donald Trump and his current indictments.

Next up there's a crazy story coming out of Kansas City about a group of friends who had a football playoff party, then one of them decided to go to bed and the other three ended up dead in the freezing cold in their backyard. What killed the three men is still a question that everybody is discussing. Also how do you not notice your friends dead in your backyard for a couple of days? Mark, Jason and Jonathan break this down and discuss.

Finally we have another tournament of pop culture after we took a break. This week's tournament is the best board games ever! Did your favorite board game make the list? Did the one that you thought was going to move forward move  forward as you expected? All this and much more on the newest episode.

Feb 15, 2024

Marcus Boston is back just in time for the finale of the Tournament of Pop Culture: Cops, robbers, Spies and Assassins bracket!

First up, Marcus comes back to let Mark and everyone know that he is definitely not dating any white women anymore. This comes on the heels of Mark asking Marcus about black culture and how they view black men dating or marrying white women. Mark noticed that many famous black men have white wives and he was curious as to how others view this in black culture.

Next, The KC Chiefs have become Super Bowl champions...but this didn't stop some people from committing a mass shooting at their parade. Mark, Jason and Marcus discuss the gun isssues in our society and how to fix these things. When shootings are happening at celebrations, you know the country is currently spiraling out of control.

Then its time to move onto the finale of the tournament of pop culture. The guys have 4 movies that are in the finale. After 64 movies went toe to toe for who stands tall, these men will figure out who reigns supreme.

Finally, When marcus comes on, Mark needs to figure out why he has so much trouble in the dating world. So Mark asks some Am I the A-Hole questions to both Jason and Marcus to figure out how they process some issues are having and maybe open up a path to figuring out Marcus once and for all.

Feb 8, 2024

On this episode of The QNow Elad Gross and Maddox join us to discuss stalkers and the Missouri general election! Plus Jenna Roberson joins us again.

First up elad gross is running for Missouri attorney general and he decides to stop by the QNow for a quick conversation about the election and his plans for the state of Missouri. Elad also breaks down the drama that he was involved in with his former opponent Sarah Unsicker and how he became a spy for the Israeli government (according to her). Plus we find out what kind of hobbies Elad has!

Next up our host Mark is a huge fan of this viral Sensation from the early days of the internet. Maddox and his takes have taking his website "The Best Page in the Universe" and turned him into a sensation. Coming up in the early days it was difficult for people to get noticed but not for Maddox. Since then Fame has brought him stalkers and issues that he didn't expect. He sits down with our hosts to discuss his life and some of the pitfalls. Plus his new documentary about those pitfalls and bad people.

Finally we have our last week of the tournament of pop culture. We have broken down cop movies and Robber movies and assassin movies... And finally we have our spy movies. What do you consider a good spy movie? Did your movie make the cut? Do you think we got it wrong on a choice? Tune in and find out who makes the Final Four in our championship next show!

Feb 2, 2024

On this episode of the QNow we welcome back our friend Andy Echele. And Andy comes back to the show at the perfect time.

First of Mark is having some issues with some local businesses. So Mark decides to tell the story of what happened and explain to people that they don't have to put up with these types of treatment when they are spending their hard-earned money and being clients of these companies. Mark also brings up a national company that he's been having problems with this year and how they are poorly handling their customer service.

Next up is the tournament of Pop Culture (week number three)  of the cops, robbers, assassins and spies tournament. 2 weeks have already gone by and now we are up to some of the most dangerous individuals that we've seen in movies yet. Plus there is a moment that is historical in the history of the Q show and it comes courtesy of our guest Andy. Did your movie make it, or did something make you unhappy when you heard that it was on the list... Tune in and find out who won!

Finally middle-aged is a suffer of a lot of people and Mark has a list of questions that he has to ask Andy and Jason to find out if they officially our middle aged yet. Play along with us and see how many of these you can attribute to yourself. All this and much more on the new Qnow,

Feb 1, 2024

On this episode Jenna Roberson joins Mark Bland and Jason Kull to discuss the ROBBERS section of the TOPC (tournement of pop culture) and politics.

First up news comes whipping in that it seems some senators and representatives from the State of Missouri House decided to submit articles to incorporate Mutal Combat/Dueling as a way to solve issues at the state level. Mark, being a Prowrestler, and Jason being, not republican, know that this is not a good way to handle these things but are all about it if that's what republicans want to solve their issues.

Second, the world is being ripped apart in Texas at the border and the governor of the state is threatening the Federal government that it will not remove razor wire from the Rio Grande. We discuss all the aspects of this and if it will lead to war or fighting.

Next up Is the tournament of pop culture. This weeks bracket from the Cops, Robbers, Assassins and Spies TOPC is the Robbers section! Movies where robbery is the focus, but what movie stands to win...well tune in and find out!

Finally, a ton of time has passed since 100 years ago. There were predictions that people made in 1924 about what life in 2024 would be like. Well we have a list of them on this episode and we are gonna break them down and find out how close to true some of those predictions were. Flying Cars maybe? How bout Jetson styled auto meals cooked to perfection and immediate....well we all know the truth about that. But find out what blew our teams mind when it came to the predictions.

Jan 19, 2024

Jonathan May has returned on this episode of The Q to Grace us with his amazing comedic abilities.

First up is the Iowa caucus for 2024 and our friend Donald Trump has easily won a red state where we obviously knew he was going to win. But what does this mean for America and all of us who are watching from the sides. This man has criminal issues and indictments that should hold him off of the ballot but he still continues to campaign and get support. We discussed the Iowa caucus and the future of America between the guys.

Next up is a tournament of Pop Culture that we didn't expect to have but we have it now. This tournament is based off of cop movies. Movies like Training Day and Beverly Hills Cop. We take 16 of them and break it down to figure out which movie was the best cop/police movie. Did your favorite movie make the list because Mark definitely did not make this list... so we don't know. But tune in and join the guys as we decide who is the most entertaining and best cop movie.

Finally there are things that are red flags and people's houses that most of us understand and know. These are unspoken things but when you see them pop up you definitely know that you don't want to be at that house. Mark Bland, Jason Kull and Jonathan May discuss these Oddities and bring some of their own to the table. All this and much more on the newest episode of The Q now.

Jan 13, 2024

On this episode of the QNow Mark Bland and Jason Kull are joined by Keegan Emmert an amazing local St Louis Street magician.

First up it's obvious the GOP is in disarray because Hunter Biden showed up at their Congressional meeting and decided to leave right before MTG spoke! This left everyone in the building speechless and even the CNN camera's left the event to follow Hunter and his team into the halls with their cameras. Taking the cameras away from the GOP really was the worst thing for them because they didn't get to pretend and put on a show for America. The gentleman discuss.

Next up we discuss Keegan and where he grew up and a little bit about his background in the game of magic. Keegan asked for the guys to bring a deck of cards so that they were sealed and they knew that he hadn't touched them. He proceeds to discuss his upbringing, a little about his wife and their early year as well as the ability to perform tricks on the fly and how people respond. Next up the guys are treated to getting to see Keegan in full form!

Finally Mark told Keegan before the show started that there was a special ending to it. Mark found a list of objects that may or may not be able to fit in a human butt. So the question really is "will it fit in a butt"? Download to find out!

Jan 5, 2024

On this week's episode of the show Jenna Roberson joins us once again to discuss the newly released Epstein list of individuals from the court case. Jenna joins Mark Bland and Jason Kull on this first episode of the 2024 election year.

First up Mark brings to the table a weird story regarding Jimmy Kimmel and Aaron Rodgers of the New York Jets. Rogers accused Jimmy Kimmel of being on the Epstein list which Jimmy Kimmel did not like. And understandably so when you accuse people of being pedophiles. Kimmel lashed out and tweeted back that he was going to sue Aaron Rodgers and then he needed to watch his mouth. Mark and the guys discussed this topic and that leads to their next attempt.

Next up our wonderful guests and hosts decide to try and figure out who might be on Epstein's list before they read it. Each of them take turns choosing a name until they have selected three names to be potentially on the list. Do they pick the people you're thinking or are they going after people you don't consider to be a threat for this list? Tune in and find out who they think is on it.

Finally there are questions that people just feel they can't ask in public. Mark reached out to a bunch of people and ask them for questions that they typically would not ask others in public but are questions that they thought across their minds... And some of the questions are pretty on the spot sensitive and not something you would ask in public. Find out what these guys answered by listening to this new episode of The Q.
