Do you know what the Mandela Effect is? Well it's this idea that you remember things in a similar but wrong way from the way it was originally presented. Well welcome the Q's version of that! Mark Bland our great host seems to be Mandela'ing himself all over the place on this episode. Drew Pinson and Mike Eise join to discuss a few different things and the episode takes an interesting turn.
First up the gents discuss Drew Pinson and his harrowing adventure at his job the other night. Drew was involved in an active shooter situation and goes into detail discussing his involvement and everything surrounding it! This comes on the heels of what is going to be the most rain to fall in a 24 hour period in St. Louis history. Drew gets caught in this torrential rain storm while trying to calm down from his life flashing before his eyes. All this and more, so check it out!
Next up, there are people in the republican party that think they are going to have a civil war. How many of these people fall into this category? Well the guys discuss the potential for civil war and if the 30% of republicans is indicative of Trump supporters or just an angry amount.
Finally, Mark and Drew get into a debate. Mark is discussing something regarding his background with LGBTQ and makes the comment that the culture tends to bring out and flourish in the world of the arts and other great things. Drew feels mark is stating things in a prejudice way. Mark being older thinks he is fine describing the situation and how people will view what he said. Then comes the challenge for all LGBTQ people to listen to the episode and let Mark and the guys know if it sounds prejudice or if it's Drew overvaluing it too much?
Missouri State Senate candidate joins Mark Bland, Mike Eise and Jason Kull for a few minutes to discuss his senate campaign in a Red State like Missouri and what his plans are for the future of the state and country.
First up, the guys get to know a bit about Mr. Sinclair and his focus for the rest of the campaign. This includes the constituents in the district 2 area for the state of Missouri. Michael is focusing on Term Limits for judges and the SCOTUS, plus he wants to better our infrastructure and women's rights are heavily on his mind. This all gets Mr. Eise amped up to discuss the electoral college and how voting is used in the USA today. All this leads to a discussion about Uvalde and gun reform in the US, and specifically in the state of Missouri.
Then it's time for Michael to jump into the Hot SEAT and do what the others before him did...answer the questions! And he does, while also getting people amped up to change more laws and things in the USA, just off his answers alone. A candidate of merit!
Finally Mark and the guys sit back to discuss some other things that affect adults. Parenting! Mark is at home with the kids while they are summer break and he is realzing that they come to him and say they are bored more than ever before. This ties back into some discussion the guys had with Sinclair earlier in the show and how the kids or ingesting entertainment now compared to the past...will something be worked out...find out on this episode of the Q!
So Eric Greitens decided to put out a commercial in St. Louis stating that he is HUNTING RINO's (Republicans In Name Only). This is kinda crazy since he is openly using language and visuals that are feeding his sycophant lifestyle of wanting to hurt people. Why? Well we discuss this on the newest Q.
Jonathan May and Jason Kull make their way back to the table to discuss the stories in the news. This includes the January 6th hearings that just happened (again) and we found out that the Oath Keepers were aware of the plot a few weeks before as shown through text messages. Plus one of the men there at the inssurection has had a change of heart and testified against Trump and all the conservatives.
Next up is the police video and surveillance video released by the media of UVALDE and their lack of effort trying to save the Robb elementary kids. It's kinda sickening and makes adult very angry when they see this video.
Finally, to get away from those evil and bad stories, Mark lightens it up a bit with a game of Choose you House and What Movie or TV show would you live in. Hilarity ensues and everyone had a blast. check out this new episode of the Q!
Drew Pinson joins on this show with so much going on, it's hard to keep up.
First things first, Mark Bland and Drew Pinson tackle the 4th of July Shooting in Highland Park, IL and the subsequent Jayland Walker shooting over the 4th of July weekend. But it's tough for Mark to keep coming on the show discussing kids getting shot up for no reason, or another unarmed person being shot and killed. It's taking it's toll on everyone and these men discuss.
Next Mark talks a little about the business of wrestling and how the people in the business today come from a different background than others in the past, and with so many differing backgrounds, the needs of the wrestlers over the years have developed behind the scenes assistants and other people that help with their careers. This comes from a story about Buff Bagwell firing his social media person. This then turns to a discussion about outgoing Prime Minister Boris Johnson and how he needs to resign (and did after this show).
Finally Mark and Drew decide to take on soame questions of love and this leads to Drew explaining his background in the world of bartending and working in places where KINK is a thing. Download and find out more! All on this episode of The Q.
Drew Pinson and Mike Eise join Mark Bland fresh off his cruise through carribean!
When Mark left, the country was struggling but moving forward, when he came back, it was as if he landed in 1935 Germany. Authoritarianism swept through the Supreme Court and they decided to overturn Roe v. Wade. Which took rights away from millions of women in one instant and turned the clock back to a time that Donald Trump enjoyed.
Mark talks about his cruise, but then immediately jumps into abortion rights and the SCOTUS decision while he was gone. This leads to a convo about parents trying to indoctrinate other people's kids into their way of thinking. The only ones that do it consistently are weird christian and evangelical children.
Next up there was a special last minute hearing for the Jan 6th testimonies and committee. They brought in former WH aide Cassidy Hutchinson to testify to a bevvy of issue including Trump throwing plates of food and condiments everywhere. How does this affect the committee...the guys discuss.
Finally Mark takes some opinions on the Roe v. Wade decision and then brings up some questions for Drew and Mike to throw around and answer for themselves. Most importantly, What is america good at? What do they do well that others notice? Find out what the guests said on this edition of The Q!
