On this new years eve 2022, we save the best for last.  Ed Reggi, an accomplished actor and improvist, joins the Q to discuss what he has been doing these last few years since we seen him, Covid and more Covid and politics has been ravaging the world and Ed has been handling his business the way he sees fit.  So it is time to catch up with the snomageddon viral star!

First up, Ed and his significant other purchased a house a few years back with some land and Ed has been fixing it up ever since. The guys get into talking about the housing structures in the old days of St. Louis looked, and how they try to emulate it with a more modern feel. This leads to Mark discussing his own home and the layout and how it can be bothersome at times.

Next, as the year closes, a lot of things happened in the news politically and otherwise. Mark and Ed tackle the news stories. First the Queen of England passes away and the two reminisce about their thoughts and nostalgia of watching here as they grew up and what she meant to our world. On top of that Russia invades Ukraine and the Jan 6th committee did their thing and people are paying the price now.  All this and much more is discussed on this year in review!

Finally, Mark decides to field a few questions with Ed Reggi, go as far as to invite Ed's husband to come on the show in the future and discuss their relationship and life together. Mark has interviewed Ed a few times, but never talked with his husband about the real Ed Reggi...find out if Ed is willing to make this happen or if he put the kobash on it real quick.

Well well well we are here and it is christmas time in the city of St. Louis, Mo. Santa Clause has his list and is checking it twice. Now it's time for him to make a call to the Q with Mark Bland and Jason Kull so he can let them in on what it is like to be Santa Clause in 2022!

Also, The January 6th committee has released it's recommendations for the Insurrectionists like Donald Trump and these are not charges that should be ignored at all! Trump, Meadows and others purposely decided to incite insurrection and lie about everything. The committee figured this all out and recommended charges from the DOJ. The guys discuss!

Variety put out it's cool list of the 100 best movies and there are some surprises compared to past lists. That is what makes this list that good. They take a lot of things into account including influence on others and popularity. You might be surprised at their Top 20 as Mark and Jason break it down.

Finally you can't go without hearing from Adam Sandler and his famous Chanukah Song! Mark and jason then discuss some of the worst gifts others got for xmas and how it affected them. All this and much more on this episode of The Q! Merry Christmas to you and your families from the Q!

Welp it seems Mark posted something to social media and it caught him some flack. But it's not that national kinda flack that typically is associated with a social media post...it's more localized and people calling offline to challenge what the post said.

On this Episode of The Q, Alex Elias joins Mark and Jason Kull to discuss Mark's recent post where he claimed in his prime athleticness, Mark said he was as good as any other professional athlete  and just as athletic. Now Mark didn't say he was a professional football player and could beat Micah Parsons in football today....BUT... back in his prime, with all things working properly, he was as athletically gifted as a Micah Parsons or other professional athletes. Alex vehemently disagrees with this and argues that Mark could never have been the same caliber as a All Pro Football player....But then Mark starts breaking down his size, his sport, what they wear versus a heavily padded football player....Does Mark change the mind of Alex, listen and find out!

Then Mark and the guys discuss the Brittney Griner prisoner swap where Donald Trump came out and said he could have done the prisoner swap for Paul whelan back in his presidency, but he decided not to do it. Just like the wall he didn't build and the Covid he didn't stop. The gentleman discuss the upcoming announcement of his Trump NFT cards, Viktor Bout (the other half of the prisoner swap) and explain how the negotiations between the biden Whitehouse and Putin went regarding the Prisoner Swap.

Finally Mark and Jay wants to really get to know Alex a lot better and starts to ask some difficult questions of Alex. This comes on the heels of a personal friend that is dying that Mark had a chance to talk with and it made him emotional and want to find out more about his personal friends. Alex, Jay and Mark discuss the questions as they pertain to their lives in 2022.

All this and much more on the new Q!

Well Marcus Boston is back on the show to help us close out the Best Action Movie since 1980. The guys are down to four competitors for the best movie. Lethal Weapon (80s), Terminator 2 (90s), Inglorious Basterds (2000s), Winter Soldier (2010's). Who will reign supreme in this final discussion, we are going to find out but first!

A local STL broadcaster got caught with a third DWI. This bothers Mark because of the number of DWI's that this gentleman got. They discuss this and the attacks that Mark endured for stating what everyone else was already saying.

It was a great week for moderates and democrats in the USA. Georgia had their runoff election between Warnock and Herschel Walker. Walker entered the situation talking about werewolves and Vampires and election fraud and all of it...BUT IN THE END...the most mind numbing thing happened after the republicans lost the election. They blamed it on something they did and pretended to be confused by their own actions....The gents discuss all of this.

Finally Marcus explains that he is not a fan of Christmas, but he also shares it with a birthday. So based of this, Mark and Jason press down to find out some info regarding the uniqueness of having a birthday right next to christmas. Plus Marcus explains that his Mom had a unique way of delving out presents for both the birthday and christmas, which just peaks more interest and brings up more questions.

It's been a a grind but we are finally at the final brakcet of the Tournament of Pop Culture: Best action movies since the 1980's. On today's show is the final 2010's bracket and it is a doozy! And Marcus Boston, joins Mark and Jason Kull to break down all of it and get a final winner!

First up Marcus is back and RACE is all over the news and Kanye is going crazy helping right wing nazi sympathizers get more well known and all of it. Maybe Marcus can make some sense out of all of this. But to get there, we discuss colonization, the former queen of england and how things are lookes from perspective and time. The USA is a very shallow existence with 300+ years under it's belt. But other parts of the world are thousands of years older and have writen history from 3000-4000 years ago. Places in the middle east and around the birthplace of civilization. Marcus, Mark and Jason break this down and discuss Race in the US versus the view of Racism in the world.

Then Marcus lets out once again that he is choosing not to go to his 20 yr High School Reunion. This gets Mark and Jason discussing the time Mark went to his 20 yr reunion and it was in Ferguson the night of the Mike Brown situation. Mark relays the thoughts and feelings of that and how he was pointed out as one of "those people right there" and how he needed to "they all need to die". It was a wild reunion story that has been brought up before, but this leads to Marks major discussion on Elon Musk and the craziness that has hampered this world we live in since Covid in 2020. Elon seems to have gone off the rails and the men discuss!

Finally, It's time for the TOPC: Best Action movies since 1980 and in this final round, we are focused on the Movies of the 2010's. And Action movies to boot. Which Mission Impossible made the list? Does Django Unchained have an unfair advantage? What movies were on the list that you wanted but they didn't make it. Well to find out you have to tune in and let the gents break down the movies and the bracket for you!
