Mark the host of the show has spent the entire decade spilling his heart and thoughts into the Q show and trying to bring some semblance of morals and thought to the political things he says and puts out. With that, we go into the 2020's ending on the most important discussion of the show's history...The impeachment of Donald J. Trump 45th President of the USA.
As this show was ramping up, the House decided to vote and Impeach the 45th president of the USA. This has been talked about for weeks and weeks. Debated for weeks and months. It's a very serious and sensitive subject, but also a huge change to the way the President is viewed worldwide and by other foreign leaders. Mark is joined to discuss all of this by Brandon Travis (our verified high flyer and resident thrill seeker) and Owner of Take A Hike Bike Shop, Joe Russell.
First up, Mark and the guys discuss being thrill seekers and how they connect and become acquainted with each other. This leads directly into impeachment talk. Joe and Brandon not being deeply ingrained in national politics discuss why Trump is in the position he is in. Mark illuminates other aspects and the gentlemen discuss their opinions about Trump and this impeachment that is ACTUALLY happening. Including the way the debates went defending Trump with crazy Pontius Pilot talk and other things.
This leads to discussion of False Flag operations and some conspiracy theories that Brandon wants to discuss. Mark points out to the men that being conspiratorial is technically anti-american in it's normal stance. Mark must defend his remarks but it all comes back to Trump not even having his cabinet full three years into his presidency.
Finally, and on the last one of this decade, Joe Russell of Take a Hike Bike shop jumps on the HOTSEAT to discuss all the questions Mark and Brandon pose to him. This leads down a road discussing the past decade and the favorite moment in the past 10 years for Joe and Brandon. This open another pandora's box and the guys talk about life and the strange places it takes you when viewing such huge chunks of your past.
From everyone at the Q...Joe Russell and Brandon Travis...and to all of you and your families...Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We are gonna finish off the decade in Style and bring in the New Roaring 20's. Thank you 2010's for being amazing to The Q and all the friends/fans we made in the past decade. We look forward to doing it great for another decade too!
Patrick Wilson and Comedian Jonathan (Award winning) May come on the Q to disucss the articles of impeachment against Donald Trump...but the story starts off before that.
Mark starts by checking into the music background of Patrick and early growing up in St. Louis County. This leads to a interesting discussion of the best shows the guys ever seen at clubs in St. Louis or even at all.
Mark then changes the focus to music and culture. Ferguson shows up in the convo and Patrick discusses how his day went the day the Michael Brown incident happened. Which leads to stories from Jonathan and Mark. This tuns to talk of the Beach Boys and how black culture views white crossover artists and which ones have been taken in by black culture.
Then the talk switches to the Golden Globes and specifically Mark wants to discuss if Tom Hanks playing Mr. Rogers is a SUPPORTING ROLE. He's nominated for Supporting Actor in a movie and not as the Lead Actor. This brings up some great movies and which ones you should watch for or see.
Finally, Mark turns the topic to impeachment and Trump and where he is at at this current point. Jonathan May comes up witha genius way to explain Trump to people that might not get how the man operates. But sadly, that is the end of our show...due to technical difficulties, the last 20 minutes of the show did not record and therefore must bid you adieu at that point. But we will work the kink out and be back to fresh next week!
Oh the world we live in. Enjoy this episode of the Q with myself and Jason Kull.
I'd try to explain but there is a media blackout and I can't.

Parental Guidance is SUGGESTED HEAVILY!
NOBODY HAD HURT FEELINGS IN THE MAKING OF THIS! NOBODY!
On this episode of the Q, Marcus and Cecil of The Soulardians podcast joined Mark to discuss their show and everything else in their world.
First up Mark and the guys discuss their political positions. Cecil focuses much more heavily on the local STL scene when dealing with Politics, where Marcus doesn't put it out there all that much.
From there, the guys discuss Candace Owens and her new push to be Anti-Vax and tell people something special about HPV. Find out what our friend Candace said....
Next, Mark and Cecil start talking about conspiracy theory and podcasting. Of course Rogan comes up and it's so easy to say his name and " You're listening to Rogan!" So Mark gets a unique idea to try and see how it works. Probably will fail, but oh well.
This finally leads to a discussion about the new Marijuana Laws and how Joe Biden and Bloomberg and all the different people are kinda spinning their support for and against the drug as it becomes a larger national focus. Finally, Mark puts The Soulardians on the HOTSEAT! They answer the questions and we all enjoy an interesting cultural discussion that pops up.
If you would like to listen to the Soulardians, you can find more info here:
thesoulardians.com/
Professional Wrestler Damion Cortess joins the show along with Gary Weed and Producer Bobby. But there is one thing on the mind of host Mark Bland, the new "OK BOOMER" line and hashtag on social media.
First off Damion tells the guys about his upbringing. Where wrestling fit into his life. How it changed his perspective. But most of all, the story of his aunt and him regarding Wrestlemania one year...you have to hear the story!
Next, Gary is hot and bothered because his life is changing a bit and he is on the search for a new place to live. But he keeps running into some pretty tough agents and renters. Are they int he right or is Gary in the right about the financial expectations in 2019 and what they will and won't look at?
Finally it's Mark's turn....He's recently been getting called BOOMER n social media and realizes that it is misplaced lack of info that has grown this worthless hashtag. But more than that, it's become a way to be dismissive to people that are older than you...But YOU OWE EVERYTHING YOU LOVE TO GEN X....The internet the way it is, the video games that became your favorite all tested on GEN X before you existed. Mark goes in on thisrant of the YEAR candidate. See if you agree with him!
Brett Auten is an award winning journalist and writer based in St. Louis. Brett joins Gary Weed and Mark Bland on the Q to discuss the war on media and how he views it from his position.
Brett is an avid MMA fan and the guys find out quickly that he is th head of a regional website for many years named KNUCKLE JUNKIES. It focused heavily on STL MMA independent fighting circles and commentated on larger national things at times. This leads to a convo about the favorite MMA fighters of each person on the show.
Next up is Trump and this impeachment inquiry that has moved into the interview stages in front of Congress. Everyday is a thousand tweets of how he's not the bad guy, but every interview uncovers new crazy things Trump did that were definitely not on the up and up. Where is this all going? The guys aren't sure but they discussed it with Brett!
Finally, It's time for our guest to be on the HOT SEAT. 5 Questions they have no clue is coming and they gotta stay on their toes to answer them. There is no wrong answers, but Brett's first question is "CAKE OR PIE?" This alone could cause a ruckus. See if it did on this episode of The Q!
Matthew Krueger rejoins the cast of Mark Bland and Gary Weed for the first time in quite some while. Welcomed back in true past co-host fashion, Matt brings his conservative flavor to the Q for this episode.
Politics is a dangerous game. There are many ways to lose when playing politics on a national scale. Trump is embroiled in this Impeachment Inquiry and needs to pivot properly if he is going to weather this storm. Mark and the guys discuss this impeachment and how it is being used against Trump currently. With no end in sight, it seems Mark may be right about the reasoning for doing this at all.
But people are not paying attention...how will weathering this storm of impeachment help Trump potentially. Because if he doesn't get booted from office...well that lends a ton of credibility to the conservative argument that it is all BS and made crap to take Trump down a level.
This and much more is discussed on this new and exciting episode of the Q.
This world is absent of common sense in 2019. Gary Weed and Travis Corley of Agitate the Airwaves join Mark to discuss these moments of lapse in common sense across our great nation.
First up, Mark talks to Travis about being a promoter and how good he is at what he does on a weekly basis. This quickly switches to Marks new section of the show called "What dumb thing has Trump done this week!"
Donald Trump decided to take the Emoluments Clause of the US Constitution and explain that it is PHONY and FAKE. Which is weird since the clause was put into the document by Republican President James Madison. So even Trump doesn't like republican rules in the constitution. Trump also made a comment about Colorado getting a "Big Beautiful New Wall" to protect it's borders. Trump is so out of it that he doesn't realize that Colorado is not a border state. Mark explains that this is just gonna get worse...and Mark's pre-election claim of early onset Dementia is becoming a little more accurate as we get deeper into this presidency.
Finally the guys discuss a little Halloween stuff and talk about their favorite horror movies from the past 5 years. Find out who they recommend you watch to scare yourself!
Trump is embroiled in an impeachment that seems to bother him very badly. Mark Bland and Jonathan May sit down to discuss all the new things Trump is doing.
First up they discuss Trump tweeting up to 100 times in a 24 hour period like a man that is losing his mind. But is this an attack unfairly on the president? Mark and Jonathan discuss.
Next up, Mark reads a tweet from Trump that basically alludes to a Civil War being started. He's doing whatever he can to react in the worst ways regarding this Impeachment. This sparks up Jonathan to pose an interesting question that takes the guys in many different directions.
Finally or two host die into unpopular and hot take style questions hand picked by Mark from the letters tat get written to him. A couple of the letters go pretty deep and it's totally worth your time to hear these questions and stories.
Mark Bland and Gary Weed discuss the new war on Vape pens and E-Cigarettes. The Union strike of GM as they try and forge a new contract for the future. And finally, the guys turn their eyes towards the Oil/Gas prices because of a bombing on a Saudi Arabia Oil Facility. Plus much much more!
Mark Bland and Gary Weed return on this episode of the Q to discuss the shooting at the Galleria Mall in St. Louis, Mo. Also Mark breaks down Missouri and it's people as a state for everyone to understand. Of course there was some Donald Trump talk too because of his amazing ability to double down on the dumbest things. And finally, we take some questions from the listeners about things in their life like: Should a guy considered the A-hole if he plays by the rules and the perception of others is in direct opposition of that?
We discuss all of this and much much more on this episode of the Q!
Ever lost your marbles as a human being? Well the president of the USA has just done that.
Jonathan May and Gary Weed, join Mark Bland to discuss the 36 hour period where Trump went looney and will probably define the majority of his presidency.
First up, Donald Trump took the world this past week and let everyone know that he is indeed "The Chosen One" as he even looked up at heaven to drive the point home. But this was just one of the many things that happened in this 36 hour period. Trump also retweeted that he was the "King of the Jews" which a radio host called him on their show. Also Trump decided it was a good idea to pull out of the new gun restrictions and heightened background checks bill he was on top of...and he also decided to let all Jewish people know that any who vote liberal are disloyal to their god and bad people in general. So yeah, DONALD TRUMP LOST HIS MARBLES.
On top of that, MTV has decided that the success of Catfish determines that a new show in the same vein needs to happen. Do you know what "ghosting" is? Well the guys break it down and discuss their opinions that MTV is doing a show bringing back people who've been ghosted.
Finally a listener writes a letter explaining that he thinks there should be a secondary Olympics for people who want to use steroids. Like an "all inclusive" Olympics. Mark doesn't seem to have an issue, but it all gets lost in translation because Jonathan takes the position of the parent in life and breaks down why it's a bad idea.
Gary Weed and Mark Bland embark on a journey to find out more about the legendary St. Louis Metal/Rock/Rap group called The Midwest Avengers.
John Harrington of the Midwest Avengers joins the show to discuss his upbringing and forming the group back in the early 1990's. Plus discusses his new music they just released and some thoughts on the business of hip hop.
First up, Mark breaks down the past with John discussing their mutual time in the St. Louis music business back in the 1990's. Touring and building the fan base. As well as discussing in detail The Point (local STL indie rock station) and how they were launched to success through their single "Bounce" being played on the station. This leads to a discussion on pay to play in the past and how it worked back in the day.
Next up, Mark and the guys take on Jeffrey Epstein's death by suicide in a suicide watch cell. How did this happen? Is there a conspiracy? And the original autopsy came back inconclusive (since then they found broken neck bones...strangulation). Jon and Mark start chopping it up about Conspiracies and whether they serve a purpose or not.
Finally Mark and Gary fire up the HOTSEAT and put John square in the middle of it. Among many things talked about, Jon tells Mark what his favorite time of his life was. I bet you can't even fathom to guess what it was. Well tune in and listen to find out this and so much more!
Mark Bland, Brandon Travis and Producer Bobby have to join us on this amazing episode of the Q.
Fresh off the heels of two mass shootings, Mark and the guys decide to discuss the entire situation in glorious detail. Mark discusses the amount of preparation the shooters went into setting up their deadly massacre's. Two incredibly different shootings with differing purposes, but both claim that politics and our discourse as a nation fueled their rage. Whether it was disenchantment with the system in Dayton, Ohio...or it was fueled by bigotry and xenophobia in El Paso, TX....both area's are reeling from the damage done by the two ignorant and jerk shooters. This leads to the main discussion of if Trump bares any responsibility in these shootings because of his attitude and words he's used to play to his fan base.
This leads into Bobby giving some of his beliefs live on the show and discussing them with Brandon and Mark. First up, Abortion. Bobby gives his stance on abortion and everyone gets into talking about how long you as a parent should have to til you are stuck with raising the baby. Next up was GUNS. Producer Bobby believes that guns are important to protecting yourself in the USA. This leads to discussion about confiscating guns. In russia, they only shoot rubber bullets.
Finally, it seems the boy scouts are not such good guys after all. New documents presented in court this past week show that the boy scouts, similar to the catholic churches they hold meetings at, have been holding back the names of hundreds of leaders over the years that were caught molesting children. This is a travesty of mass proportions and also opened up some memories from my past with boy scouts and my stories about thinking leaders were creepy.
It's an exciting week on this episode of the Q!
It's been a while in the making but two influential guys from the STL finally got a chance to sit down and talk some politics and pop culture. First things first, Gary Weed returns to the show to help Mark welcome their guest, Wes Hoffman. Wes is a social media influencer and all around positivity person on the streets of St. Louis. Wes is the founder of Treehouse Network and runs his own career counseling business named Stay Connected STL (www.stayconnectedstl.com). Wes joins in to follow the leader as discus some current events of our time.
First up is Mark, before getting sidetracked, discussing with Wes what he does for a living and how he got to where he is in life. This leads to Mark realizing there are catch phrases and cliche words used often within the business world. The guys discuss the value of of these words and why the word "Preneur" was attached to so many things a few years ago.
Next up, It's Mueller Time! That's right...Robert Mueller finally testified in front of Congress about his report and investigation regarding Donald Trump and Russian Collusion in 2015/2016. But was it a good move or not? How about the the timing of everything? The guys talk about what they liked and how they thought it looks to everyone else around the world and in the USA. Did the DEM's get the win they needed? Was Mueller the final nail in the coffin of Donald Trump....the discussion is on!
Finally, Mark and Gary have to put Wes through the HOTSEAT since he is a first time guest on the show. But first, Mark wants to give the people a taste of what working with Wes would be like. How are the questions phrased? What kind of thoughts and focus does Wes put into his work. Find out what his Hotseat answers were, as well as how Wes handles clients on this amazing episode of the Q!
Brandon Travis returns to the Q on a episode that has a lot of everything for everyone!
First up, Mark is not happy with President of the USA saying some rather passive aggressive racial things towards some congresswomen. Trump turns his racial anger against Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and lets them know that they need to go back to their "own country" and leave the USA. Weirdly, AOC is a New York/Jersey Girl like him and would only be returning to the Brooklyn, NY. But that's why Mark is all heated. He knows that Trump knows that...Trump is trying to be racist in the most effective way he can in such a high profile position. It's completely about skin color and being an a--hole. Mark and Brandon discuss this and how it is racist.
Race stays on the table as Mark then switches to actor Chris Pratt wearing the Gadsden Flag shirt and he explains how there is a racial connection to it from the Tea Party and their decisions to make the flag their own in 2009. After this, Mark switches the discussion to Netflix's new prices and the reason for the prices. If a company ever wanted to throw their clients under a bus, Reed Hastings did just that and explained the reason for the new pricing structure. Find out why Netflix is raising their prices and why these two men are livid.
Finally, Mark and Brandon take on some more questions from the listeners and discuss once again if a person is the jerk in a situation or not!
Enjoy all this and more on the new Q!
On this episode of the Q, Travis Corley of Agitate the Airwaves joins to discuss all the happenings with his company and life in the St. Louis area. Plus they decide to avoid discussing politics for the show.
First up, Mark and Travis start to discuss people that are always happy. How do you respond to someone constantly happy? There is no way that a human can be happy 100% of the time, yet we run into these people in life and their happiness rubs off on others.
Next up is a hodge podge. Mark and Travis discuss Mark's recent trip to Six Flags St. Louis and how disappointed he was with the park and the staffing and all of it. Banking off their discussion of Warped Tour, Mark provides detail of what it's like to charge hundreds of dollars to get into the park and then offer up less and worse service considering that enormous price. This leads to a discussion about music and movies that spans multiple genres and styles. It's a really fun talk about everything and too much to post in the info.
Finally Mark and Travis try to figure out two problems:
1. Why Travis is being attacked for not nominating certain people for the Agitate the Airwaves Awards?
2. Is this boyfriend an Jerk for going to dinner and not paying a bill? You gotta hear the story to understand.
All this and much more on this episode of the Q!
Brandon Travis, Producer Bobby and Gary Weed all join Mark on this Independence Day episode of the The Q.
First up, Bobby brings sports to table and discusses the death of Tyler Scaggs, a professional baseball player for the Anaheim Angels. Tyler was found in his room unconscious and declared dead later. Nobody knows why this young man passed but the guys break down the situation and this leads to a discussion about his teammate Albert Pujols and his decisions regarding the STL Cardinals when he left for Anaheim.
Next up, Mark is PISSED a the liberal leadership in the congress and their lack of motivation to get things done as well as hold Trump accountable for his bad decisions and character. This leads to a discussion about Trump going to North Korea to do a photo-op while being the first president in decades to step on North Korean soil. But why was it necessary? Mark and the guys discuss.
Finally Mark realizes that people like his stories about people being jerks and discussing whether they should be viewed that way or not. Well this week The Q doesn't disappoint and brings to the table a story regarding a lady that is trying to get her husband to pay for something and whether it should happen at all after a sister in-law shows up and everything changes on the front. Find out what happened and if the person is a jerk or not according to you by listening to this episode of the Q.
Gary Weed is back and he is happy that the St. Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup. Which is great for him and a thorn in the side of Flyers fan host Mark Bland.
First up Mark and Gary discuss the St. Louis Blues winning the Stanley Cup and how the City of St. Louis is celebrating. That Celebrating lead to Mark's favorite old school Hockey player, Brett Hull, coming back to party with his first love and team. Brett was, let's say a little altered in his happiness...but that's okay when celebrating.
Then Gary brings up some stories he wants to talk about including one about parents fighting at another little league baseball game. Mark gets unhappy when hearing these stories and the two discuss what should and can be done to fix this issue that pops up too much now days.
Finally Mark put out the search for some people that have stories where they could be the bad guy in the situation. Mark and Gary discuss the various people and if they are indeed the problem child or not. Take a listen and find out what the people did and break it down with your two hosts.
Big Words....that's what we have on this episode of the Q. Mark starts saying them, Gary Weed starts saying them and Brandon Travis start's to use them also.
First up, Mark discusses some things in his life that aren't all that important or worthy to discuss, but he wants to talk a bit. One of those things is that the Blues are in the Stanley Cup finals and Mark decided to go and make what many are calling an "abomination". Mark is a Flyers fan and a former Blues fan, but Mark like's hockey and he wanted to promote the Blues but in a way that was his own. Well he made it his own and boy did it turn out (See picture of show cover).
Next up Mark starts doing some letters from the listeners and one strikes off on a rant which hasn't been on the show in a while now. Mark realizes one letter is sacrilege and decides to focus on this. Strangely connected to cereal and oreo's, Mark and the guys discuss this rant and if it warranted or not.
Finally the guys start talking about government and TAXATION....Many say Taxation is theft, but that's not true since you willingly sign away to let the government take from you. But maybe, just maybe, we are taxed too much. Every single place in your town that you use, taxes you. Everything you buy or use get's taxed more because everyone wanted to be in the same boat as opposed to letting that FREE MARKET dictate their success with taxation. Can't leave money making up to the gods. Mark, Gary and Brandon discuss the government and taxation. See if you agree!
All this and much more on this episode of the Q! Bing Bong yo! Enjoy.
"Politics, Politics, Politics....I like it when you mix it up or even ignore politics all together."
The amount of times Mark has heard that regarding the show is absolutely mind blowing, but still a potentially fair assessment. Well this is a show that will not disappoint at all.
Chris McQuillen, aka The Toy man, jumps in with Mark Bland and Gary Weed to discuss pop culture and nostalgia. Chris runs the ToyMan Toy Shows in the St. Louis Area and has been doing it since the 1980s/90s. Bringing in thousands a year to fawn over toys and all artifacts from the world of pop culture, Chris and his team have consistently put on multiple shows a year giving collectors all the opportunities that they could need within the area.
First up the gentlemen discuss how social media has impacted a traditionally offline thing. What new collectible toys and nostalgia has grown out of it and what have been some of the benefits of the internet on toys and Chris' toy show directly.
Next Mark talks about his recent trip to the Lake of the Ozarks (in Missouri) and how he found an old school arcade that has tons of the games that were throwbacks to the 50's-70's. It brought Mark back down memory lane, take a listen and see what grabs you.
Finally, Gary brings up the name of some shows on netflix and around currently that people need to check out and discuss. Gary throws the list at Mark and Chris and they break down what they like and what they obviously haven't seen.
A unique trip through pop culture and fun on this episode of the Q!
Well the conservatives are on the abortion train again and the Q is paying attention. It seems that a few states decided to go through (outta the blue) with more stringent abortion bans in their state legislatures. More men telling women how and what they should do with their PRIVATE PARTS. Well this shouldn't sit well with many and Brandon Travis makes his long awaited return to the show to discuss this and many other things.
Brandon has been away for a while, serving time for his transgressions in life. Mark and Brandon start off talking about Trump and his need to start Wars with Iran for no reason. But that point Brandon asks the most important question...why is Trump doing this? Mark has an answer for him, see if you agree.
Brandon and Mark then get into talking about Brandon's time away and how he handled the pressure. He was sent to the hole for a few weeks and Mark wants to know how that affects the mind of a man stuck in that situation. This leads to Brandon discussing the reasons for why he got into the trouble and along with it comes the stories of fighting to survive in a hell hole. Brandon talks about the fights he was in and why he followed through.
Finally Mark and Brandon discuss some letters from the listeners. One person specifically brings up the idea of COSPLAY and how we view it as dressing up like Halloween. But we should be allowed to be any race and dress as another to pay homage. So should costumes that are inherently non judgmental or non-racist (nefarious purpose)be allowed? The men discuss.
Enjoy this episode of the Q...Hopefully it opens your mind and makes you think.
Have you ever wondered where we come from? What was here before the big bang and stuff of that level? All these questions and more get discussed on this episode of the Q.
Jonathan May makes his return to the airwaves to discuss the William Barr debacle that has been the focus of the nation for a week. William Barr, the Attorney General, didn't want to go to the House Judiciary Committee investigation into the Mueller Report. So he just didn't show up. Which for anyone else in the country would be contempt of court and a fine/possibly jail time. But not for Trump's #1 lawyer in the country. Nope, he's allowed to do whatever he wants because in Trumps head it is about fame and popularity.
Mark then reads some posts from his past and others, just to gauge where their heads are at. One female poses the question about our consciousness and mental where-with-all. This brings Mark around to having Jonathan help him figure out what happened or existed before the Big Bang. Before the advent of time as we know it, did something physical just appear out of nothing. How did that happen.
This finally leads to Mark and Jonathan reading some letters from the listeners, including one letter that made Mark discuss and question the future of the Q. Seems as though politics has pushed many people away from focusing on it. Mark tries to figure out if the Q needs a change!
All this and much more on this new episode of the Q!
Gary Weed and Mark Bland sit down to discuss the William Barr testimony in front of Congress. Attorney General Barr was the man to release the summary report of the Mueller investigation, but Robert Mueller himself stated that Barr was not honest in his assessment. Well Congress got their blood all boiling and ready to take it to Barr, and they kinda did.
Barr was asked by Kamala Harris about his investigation into the summary report. When he explained that he didn't actually read the summary report and released his findings without reading it, that was a clue to the people of the US that Barr is in the pocket of Trump. Unlike Sessions, it seems Barr is willing to go down with the ship. Will this work out for him or not? The guys discuss.
This all works its way around to discussing the names of people, especially US Presidents. Have you ever noticed that Presidents names always sound very authentic and usually have three or four names in total....William Jefferson Clinton or George Herbert Walker Bush. Very stoic names that are associated with that office. Mark and Gary discuss the names and other names that stick out in life.
Finally, Mark and Gary take some letters from listeners and and boy do they have some doozies. Should we reprimand pregnant women that smoke cannabis publicly? Should movie Villains win more often? And why does Gary not watch Game of Thrones? All this and much more on this episode of the Q.
On the heels of their big 4:20 show, Jonathan May and Mark Bland welcome Comedian and co-conspirator Jon Maddy to the show. Jon a welcomed guest from the past gets a real taste of what being around Mark and Jonathan May is like. And by the looks on his face, it was interesting to say the least.
First up the guys discuss Robert Kraft and his need to get hot prostitutes to so sexual things for him. Mark ask's if guys like Kraft are too Famous and well known, to the point that their fame overshadows their misdeeds. This leads to the craziest thing Mark has ever heard come out of Jonathan's mouth, "Olympus has Fallen is a great film". Mark argues that nothing about it is good and Maddy plays referee to the situation. Mark even feels so horribly about the movie that he confuses it with another movie claiming the sequel had different people...he was wrong it did not.
Then the show everyone is talking about is Game of Thrones. Mark and May decide to discuss the first episode of the new season with the blessing of Maddy. SPOILERS FOR THE SHOW are in this episode so I would recommend skipping 5-7 minutes of you don't want it ruined for you.
Finally, Mark brings up a discussion with Jonathan and Jon about a conversation discussing why other cultures than Black culture are not allowed to say the N-word. Mark argues that it's kept alive by Black culture using it so frequently in slang and if they stopped the word would probably be viewed much more negatively as whole. Jonathan argues the right to say it because history dictates the culture taking the word back and not allowing others to use it. the convo gets deep and intense...take a listen and see where they finally come to a conclusion.
