Rick Pearlstein joins the Q to discuss his books called Nixonland and The Invisible Brdge.  Mark, Jason, Bobby and Schep talk to him about the Donald Trump presidency and who he thinks he most resembles out of past presidents. He discusses the upcoming of the republican party through the 60's into the 70's and 80's , and drops some pearls of wisdom that he uncovered while researching the book.

This is the Christmas show and Mark and Bobby bring back a present for the The Q show listeners, they do a Game on/Game off.  Also Mark is having a problem with Samsung regarding his 9 month old washing machine and the team decides whether Mark is just being sensitive or if he has legitimate concern against the company.  And finally, Santa has a naughty and nice list and there are some common naughty things that people in the US prescribe to.  Do any of the cast fall into these locations...find out on the Last Q of 2016!

Dec 13, 2016

Mark Bland, Jason Kull, Producer Bobby and Board op John are joined by special guest Alex Elias as they make the debut of the Q on 1190 AM The Patriot in St. Louis.  First up is the general discussion about the latest movements in the Trump transition and how they don't look like its going to be a smooth trip.

Next Mark touches on the way we as people, if you are unhappy with trump being President, should view and handle news stories from here on out.  Do we need to discuss everything that the man does?  Does it take away his luster if we choose to ignore?  That and many other questions pop up.

Finally the team focuses on how their zodiac signs attract people to them and a discussion about a lady, a guy and their unborn baby.  The team is divided on whether the man in the relationship should have as much power and say in the relationship to do what he did.  And what did he do??? Well you have to listen to the Q and find out!

Dec 6, 2016

Mark Bland and Jason Kull welcome Darius Jackson to the show to discuss the world for minorities during this Donald Trump transition.  What is the feel in that culture for what happened?  Also, based off questioning others, what does black and minority culture think is going to happen over the next 4 years.

Dairus, though, is on the show because he is honestly a fan of the Q and had some serious questions regarding Donald Trump and the thoughts on Betsy Devoss taking over the Department of Education under Trump.  She is planning on instituting a potential voucher plan for schools.  See what Mark and Jason think about implementing the plan and how it might lead back to times when things were less pleasant for some of our nation.

Nov 28, 2016

Anarchy was a dear and poignant wrestling organization based just outside of St. Louis, MO.  The fanbase was like no other and probably won't be duplicated anytime soon.  But as so many things in life, a good thing must come to an end....but it's not totally the end.  Pierre Abernathy and Evan Gelistico come back on the show to discuss their folding of St. Louis Anarchy Wrestling and the beginning of their new venture NWL (aka National Wrassling League).

Pierre and Evan discuss their favorite memories with the league they took over a few years ago, while also explaining the benefits and hype around the new wrestling league based out of KC/STL.  Mark and the guys also focus on the last event they held recently and all the feelings and emotions that come with putting your heart into something, watching it grow up and become something else.  The guys also discuss wrestling as a business and how it should be handled at all times and the ups and downs of indie wrestling.

Also. Mark still throws in some politics discussing the Trump Transition more and if the extreme attitutdes of some of the picks will bode well being implemented in such a fast fashion.

Nov 21, 2016

Mark Bland and Jason Kull discuss the transition and some of the aura around the picks and moves that Donald Trump, the President-Elect, is making.  A ton of work goes into making good choices and his choices seem very controversial in the long idealistic stances that many of them have.  It's blatantly obvious that Trump fell into this presidency aloof and is also trying to fit in as much as he can before the inauguration.

Next Mark switches up the topic and reads some questions from the listeners. One is a truly moral dilemma in the fact that you have to make a long term decision on an extreme gray area regarding Aids. Plus the two gentlemen also discuss Trumps recent "60 Minutes" episode where he backpedalled on almost every major campaign promise he made.

Nov 15, 2016

Well the jokes and folly that is the candidate for President, Donald Tump, took a turn for the real with his VICTORY in the 2016 presidential election.  His off color remarks and personality that is bloviating, antagonistic, in your face, direct, brazenly honest and everything else....wasn't enough to make people go "you shouldn't run my country."  In fact, it presented the opposite result. A majority of the people said "I like that Guy! i like him so much that I want him to run the country for 4 years".

Mark is joined on this historic episode by Jason Kull and Andy Echele.  Andy the more conservative and Jason, the more democratic, weigh in with Mark on what this election means for the country.  But Mark explains in great detail the three things that lead to Hillary's defeat.  These aren't easy to swallow thoughts for most liberals and moderates, but it's literally what happened and gave Donald Trump the win.

Nov 7, 2016

Jason Kull and Mark Bland are back with some audio goodness for you ears.  First up is the reason why Hell Froze Over....The Chicago Cubs won the WORLD SERIES! As a St. Louis based show, we do enjoy and like our Cardinals, but their rivals winning the World Series is definitely a sore point for many.  Kull is a huge Cubs fan and he is here to discuss the win and his personal feelings.

Next up, The Election 2016....Either its getting ready to happen, is happening or just ended recently when you are listening to this and we probably have a new president elect.  This is the last attempt to discuss this election season and the two candidates.  Has this helped Trump at all....Is Clinton sitting pretty.  It's all over the place and we try to make some sense of it.

Nov 2, 2016

He's BACK and this time he's stumping for the people.  It's been a wild week in the realm of politics and no better than Curtis Wylde to jump back on the show and discuss all the goods and bads of this electoral season.

Curtis is running for state rep in Missouri and he jumps on the Q to discuss his platform and his opponent (not much). He weighs in on the Trump/Clinton campaigns and these emails, plus Mark and him break down the Clinton Foundation situation a little.  Should you vote for Trump? Should you vote for Clinton?  With a week left until the voting tsunami happens, the two make their case.

Finally Curtis is hype on conspiracy theories and Mark has something up his alley.  A list of conspiracy theories that were supposed to come true in 2016.  Mark and  Curtis discuss these theories and whether they hold any weight at all or not.  A fun episode of the show for you.

Oct 10, 2016

Well the VP's had a debate and it was eventful. Mike Pence definitely proved to be the solid co-contender for his boss Donald Trump.  Tim Kaine held his own, but there were many fine grey areas in this discussion.  Jason Kull joins the show to discuss the stance of Kaine and Pence, as well as to breakdown why you should vote conservative or democrat this election.

Also, It seems that Bozo has been a bit on the focus of everyones mind for a couple weeks now as the CLOWNS have invaded America.  Jason and Mark have a unique stance on the Clown epidemic.  Should you be scared and how far will this go?  Plus October is the perfect  time of year to pull this prank.  Take a listen and see if you agree.

Oct 3, 2016

Mark and his guest, former co-host Andy Echele, discuss the DEBATES! Who won, who didn't and how long will it be before we have a pretty solid consensus on who the next President of the US will be.

Also, Mark and Andy discuss the pilgrims and their origins and why they came over here and how the laws of the land applied to them back then versus our time period today.

Finally, Andy goes on a tagent to explain why he prefers the ideals of Anarchy over the current laws and ideals of the USA as it stands today.  All this and much more on this riveting episode of The Q!

Sep 26, 2016

HD REEVES jumps back on the show to tlak comedy and what going on in his life. The biggest story of the show is the two new police shootings that have to be discussed and Mark makes a plea deal, hopefully the world will listen....find out what it is.

Next up, HD and Mark decide to tackle the fact that Trump is starting to make a move in the polls and what it means for us as a nation.  Plus HD has some great road stories and the guys read a letter from a listener which is always good too.

Sep 19, 2016

Producer Bobby and Mark have a huge show this week. First they announce that they are currently looking for a new co-host of the Q.  Then its off to the races where the two politically minded juggernauts take on the newest controversy hitting the 2016 campaign trail.....HILLARYS HEALTH! Is it something to worry about or just banter from the right.  Listen as the guys break down the value.

Also, Bobby is never shy when it comes to imparting useless things.  In fact the show had a unknown/random facts segment for a bit of time. Bobby is back with more, but this time it takes on the well known rules of survival regarding animals and life.  The two get into a deep discussion about the applicable ones and the ones they thought were right when actually they were wrong.  Find out what you do and don't know about surviving special circumstances.

Plus, the two bring back Game OFF (half of Game On/Game Off) for just a short period.

Sep 6, 2016

Aug 29, 2016

Darian Wigfall is the head of a local hip hop and entertainment collective called The Far Fetched Collective.  Darian also had the pleasure, or lack of pleasure, being frotn row for multiple days in 2014 during the Ferguson Riots.  Darian comes in to sit down and discuss if Black and White people have made strides in the two years since Fersugon.  Also, with the out of control reaction Milwaukee had to a situation that was clearly not what they thought, where does Fake Outrage for the sake of being angry play into all of this in the current climate.

We discuss!

Aug 22, 2016

Matt Krueger joins on the show to discuss his upcoming wedding to fiance Amanda, but it takes a weird twist when Mark starts asking some personal questions regarding their relationship. To be honest, Matt only came on the show to get his hat back.

Then the guys switch gears and discuss the fresh Milwaukee Riot situtiation that was spurred on by the fact that a armed suspect was shot and killed by a black police officer....even though the entire riot was based on the belief that the cop was WHITE and the subject was BLACK and UNARMED. Find out where our host and guest fall in regards to their opinions on this situation.

Aug 15, 2016

Never at a loss for words, Mark Bland your host and friend is joined by local St. Louis entrepeneur Alex Elias to discusss his upbringing and thoughts on the STL entrepeneurial community.

But the main story and one that needs some serious discussion is about the 20 Million Dollar lawsuit filed by the Arch Defenders against Ferguson regarding the arrest of 4 people during the 2014 rioting.  The rioters claim it was an injustice and unfair attack on their rights, but they got let off in the end.  So where does the lawsuit have merit? The two discuss at length.

Plus a little Trump/Clinton talk with Alex defending his claims that Hillary is polarizing.  Is she?  See if you agree!

Aug 8, 2016

Producer Bobby is back and this episode is focused on the fact that THE DONALD (Trump) is not doing well in the polls.  Multiple polls have the controversial presidential candidate losing by 10-15 pts behind Hillary Clinton.  Mark and Bobby talk about the point spread and why it mirrors the actual vibe and feel of the USA currently.

Also, Trump decided to be mean to a young mother this week and the two discuss whether he was in the right or wrong.  Find out where our to moderately focused hosts stand on this issue.

Aug 1, 2016

Mark and guest Sean Vincent sit down and welcome him back to the Q!  Vincent is a professional wrestler from the STL area and jumps in to discuss politics and the Democratic National Convention.  Vincent gets to discussing his upbringing and how it has affected his adulthood and some of his views on it.

Also Sean discusses his recent Facebook live video that he hosted with a friend.  Sean decided to tackle the issue of race relations in the US and grabbed a good friend to sit down and talk about the issue in a very open manner.   Mark and Sean touch on some of these subjects and talk about their value in 2016

All this and much more on this Q!

Jul 25, 2016

Comedian and friend of the show Jake Ashlock stops by for the first time in almost 2 years.  Jake gets a special time to drop by since it is Republican National Convention time and we love talking politics on the Q.  First up is a situation where Melania Trump, the Donald's wife, decided to step on stage at the RNC and give a speech.  The only problem is that it wasn't completely her speech.  Pieces of the speech were ripped from Michelle Obama's 2008 DNC speech.  Of course this doesn't go over well with anyone because it seems that Donald, his party and their attitude is all about walking all over people, taking what they want and being generally dismissive and disrespectful people.  Mark and Jake discuss.

Then the guy jump into Mark's past wrestling life to discuss a new lawsuit the WWE is being hit with by former wrestlers and employees claiming that the WWE allowed them to be put in harms way regarding CTE and other brain injuries. But whose really in the wrong here and whose being thrown under the bus?

Jul 19, 2016

Producer Bobby is back and the game sweeping the nation is Pokemon Go.  It has kids and adults tripping over themsleves all over the world to get to places to Catch them All.  But whats the hype and some crazy things have happened because of the game...we will discuss.

Also, more chaos in the streets of the USA where retalliation seems to be the dinenr for some.  Officers killed in Dallas and Baton Rouge on the heels of the two police shootings in Baton Rouge and Minneapolis.  Is it a Summer thing?  Mike Brown happened in Summer and now these happen in the summer too.  But don't people get shot at other times of the year.  Also, what is the end game for everyone in this situation.  We discuss and in depth about this and much more.

Jul 11, 2016

This episode deals with two types of problems in the world.  First up is the first world problem of Mark and Little Caesars.  Mark handles some marketing on the side for fireworks tents in the St. Louis area and had a great idea for a viral video.  Unfortunately, Little Caesars (the hopeful ally) didn't want to play along and their employee's made some very bad decisions when dealing with Mark...so Mark tells guest Justin "Deyemofo" Deming the premise and you tell us if you side with Mark or Little Caesars in this.

And Second, its been a turbulent week in the US of A with police getting shot at and two men getting killed by police officers.  All of this re-ups the Black Lives Matters discussion that came about from good ole St. Louis, MO a few years back with the Mike Brown/Ferguson situation.  We discuss the new one.

Jul 4, 2016

Well the people of Britain and the UK spoke and decided to LEAVE the European Union.  They termed it "Brexit" and eveidently everyone in the USA immediately became a professional speaker on the topic.  The internet was inundated with opinions about Brexit and whether it was smart or not.  And everyone includes the guy at the Donut shop that makes donuts for a living, the guy that changes oil for a living and even the receptionist at the lawyers office became a expert in the situation.  This pissed off Mark again and he goes on a rant discussing Brexit, what it means for the US and World...as well as his opinions on the people that do that.   But not to be outspoken alone, DJ BIG SNOW (aka...Prodcuer Bobby) joins to discuss and give his two cents.

Jun 27, 2016

Well Andy Echele is back to discuss the gun issue in the USA and talk about how the shooting in Orlando has many facets that need to be focused on.  Should guns be legal or not? Where is the line between protection and constituional rights?  Do the rights in the Constitution from 200+ years ago even apply effectively to our day and age with assault weapons.  This and many other topics will be discussed on this episode of the Q.  Including how the wife knew it was going to happen and allowed it to happen at all.

Jun 21, 2016

On this episode Justing Deming returns to discuss a situation out of St. Louis where a guy purposely shot at his baby and baby mother cause he was mad. Then tried running them off the road and killing them as another concerned citizen tried driving the shot baby to a local hospital. Then two touch on the transgender bathroom issue and discussion in the US currently! All this and much more on the Q.

Jun 13, 2016

Pro-wrestler Shawn Soto and Comedian Anthony Rogers sit in on this episode of the Q.  Hillary has seemed to lock up the Democratic nomination and the guys discuss this in full.  When Mark goes to ask about political affiliation and who the two guys would vote for, the Libertarian comes out of Shawn and Anthony takes a much more valiant stance of "F--k them all".  After further discussion and pushing, Mark deems that Anthony might make a decent President and flushes out more of his edgy/controversial stances for the American people to fall in love with.  The guys also discuss the deaths of Muhammad Ali and Kimbo Slice.  Plus some overtime with a letter from the listeners.
