Oh here we are. Took 12 years and hours and hours of talking to get to this point, but we are at 500 Episodes. A Show so big I had to split it into 2 episodes just to get the people involved that we wanted and needed.

First up the show welcomes long time Producer Bobby back. We haven't seen Bobby in a long while and it's nice to have him around for a show. Also making an appearance is our favorite liberal  Jason Kull.

From there we venture back to the original guest on the Q. Episode one features our host Mark and long time film producer and director Anthony Cabral. Well even with moving and living in Chicago now, he couldn't be stopped from returning to the airwaves to chop it up with Mark and discuss Russia and a few other news stories.

Then it is on to the main event. For years the Tournament of Pop culture was a mainstay on the show! There is no way an episode goes by without a throwback to the TOPC! This TOPC is perfect and a long time in the coming.
Mark and the boys dive into figuring out the best Animated TV Series/Show of all time. Some true Icons and heavy hitters on the list. Did your show make the cut? Did it Win? Find out on the 500th Episode of The Q....Part 1!

Apr 7, 2022

Mark Bland and Jason Kull realize it ihas been a crazy week in the world. We had a man jump on stage on live tv and decide to slap a fellow artist. And this wasn't just anyone, this was WILL SMITH and he slapped comedian CHRIS ROCK...and at the Oscars of all place.

But the breakdown on this goes deeper and Mark discusses with Jason about the implications for the people that were watching at home and the all the intersecting cultures that movies and money touch.

Also Mark and Jason discuss their pasts and some of their experiences in other businesses in regards to over the top situations they have dealt with while working.

Finally the guys decide that they want to see what Ranker has  for the top Grunge songs of the 1990's. This doesn't pan out but the guys settle on a list of the best ROCK songs of the 1990's (which inlcuded a ton of grunge). Do the ones that made the list, make your list? Listen and find out!

Pam Hupp is a bad bad person and no one knows this as much as Russ Faria.

On this episode of the Q, Mark Bland is joined by Jason Kull and Mike Eise to discuss the newest changes to the Russian/Ukrainian war.

First up, the President of Ukraine has now come to the USA hat in hand and asked for US to be directly involved in the war with Russia. The US has held back recently with the Polish jets but this paints the country in a new light. Kull and Eise discuss the reasoning for Biden's decisions up till now and what the future holds potentially moving forward.

Up next is a special man. Russ Faria had to go to prison and sit for 3 1/2 years for a crime that he did not commit. The crime of murdering his wife falls on the head of Pam Hupp who did the bad things. Pam's lying put Russ in Prison and now years later there is a new NBC Miniseries about the murders and Russ called "The Thing About Pam" on NBC. Well Russ Faria sits down with Mark to talk about the case and even answer some questions that others didn't ask. Check out this amazing interview with Russ Faria.

Finally the guys decided to attack some unpopular opinions and thoughts on the last segment of the show for KYRO. Plus they answer some questions like "Have you ever quit a job DAY ONE...and why?"

All this and much much more on the newest episode of the Q. Make sure to rate and review with apple podcasts and share with your friends!

Mar 12, 2022
The USA has an issue and that is the fact that Britney Griner is currently being held in a Russian Prison for getting caught with hash oil. She is also homosexual and that is a "no no" in Russia. And the Russians have invaded Ukraine and might be starting a World War again...so Britney is in a really bad spot.

On this episode we discuss all this and welcome our guy Jonathan May back to the show to sit and talk with us about what is going on in the world.

This all leads to a discussion about Gas prices and why they are so high currently. Mark Bland dispells a few myths regarding the reasoning and put other things into perspective. Was it Putin, Biden, Trump...who is at fault or is all of them at fault?

Next up the gents get into some news stories and one in particular sets off quite the storm during the show. Mark brings up the Joros spiders and their new US home. Plus how they spread from place to place. It's called Nightmare fuel by the kids and Jonathan is not a fan at all!

Finally Mark and Jonathan talk about werewolves and then which 1980's Movie Sequels deserved more love than they got. To find out which ones they were and more...take a listen to this episode of the show!
Mar 5, 2022
Mike Eise and Jason Kull join as Mark Bland and the Q return to the broadcasting airwaves of St. Louis on 1280AM KYRO.

Every single saturday from 1 to 3pm (cst) The Q will bring the best in Indie Political discussion and Pop Culture to the world as it has done for over a decade!

On this episode Russia has decided to invade the Ukraine and Mark discusses with Mike and Jason about this issue and how it should be viewed and what can be done to fix it.

Also Mark talks with long time political analyst and radio bretheren Scheper about the war and the way Ukrainians are looking at it versus the Russians that are invading. Plus a new character on the show starts coming through named....well listen and find out.

Finally Mark and the boys decide to talk about some quetions that people are sure about but Mark and his guests make the final decisions...plus that pesky Truckers convoy failed and like the convoy, it goes without anything being said. All this and more on this weeks episode of the Q!
Jan 27, 2022

From day one, Bob Anders has been instrumental in the career of Mark Bland. And with the recent decision to join forces and create Pardon My Podcast...it was time for Mr. Anders to bring his charm to the Q for an episode. And he did not disappoint.

A lot going on in the world and first up is Mark and Bob waxing poetic on the days of yore and how all this fell into place in the first place.

Mark starts talking about podcasting and how useful it is to those out there that do not prescribe themselves to traditional media formats...And Bob brings up how useful podcasting and non traditional internet distribution is for opening up the game and allowing for the Jake Paul's to become as well known as they are.

Then Mark and Bob tackle the mess that is Dan Bongino and the need for conservatives to constantly challenge authority with regards to these internet based companies. Where does the rules for Youtube cross into bad territory with the constitution...these two gentlemen tackle this and discuss who owes who what.

Finally the gentlemen discuss  the breakdown for being a Conservative versus Liberal as well as discuss the impending Ukrainian situation and how the USA and Biden will handle this all. Of course this leads to Hunter Biden and his laptop because of course it has to....but that's where all this ends.

All this and much more on the Q!

Jan 20, 2022
On this episode of the Q, Jason Kull returns on the heels of Joe Bidens first year in office to discuss the leader and his accomplishments.

But that's not all that is happening. It seems Trump and his family are in hot water with the Southern district of NY and the Supreme court is unsealing all documents regarding Trump and January 6th 2021. This will not bode well for the former President who lost the re-election campaign in 2020 to Biden.

Also, it seems Joe Rogan (aka POGAN) is back in the news after he tried to pretend he knew more than a doctor about the doctors own job. The viral clip went live and ever since, Pogan has been the vicitm of people opinionating and discussing his collossal miscue on his show. This leads to discussing the value of Rogan and his fanbase in the upcoming elections.

Finally Mark and Jason discuss the fact that 5G is now the new hot thing and we are seeing a repeat of 2010 and 3g hampering the airline industry. Is it a real worry or not. The boys discuss on this new episode of The Q!
Jan 5, 2022

The Q is known for tapping into the Urban Dictionary aspect of the world and bringing you guys the newest and fresh lingo that is being used worldwide.

We brought you "Soaking" on the "Soakening" episode of the show (ep. 483). So we brought back our friend and former co-host with Mark, BJ Lange and his friend Sara Patterson, to discuss a new thing happening in the world of Jeeps and off roading called OVERLANDING. Techincally its exploring remote locations via travel in an offroad vehicle. So this becomes a heavy topic on this episode of the Q.

As we stated Bj brought a friend named Sara that would eventually have to sit on the HotSeat and answer some questions, but before that...we get into the acting background of both Sar and BJ based on their living in California and dealing with being working entertainers in Hollywood during Covid.  This leads to the two explaining the darker side of Hollywood and the things that you naturally have to deal with because of the way the business is still structured.

Finally Mark and his guests discuss the recent twitter decision to remove Marjorie Taylor Greene from her Twitter access and block her account from being used.  This also leads to a discussion about Greg Abbot (Gov of Texas) asking the federal government for Covid help after 2 years of being Covid deniers and being against everything the Government said or did.

Dec 21, 2021

Ahh it's christmas time and that means people that been away a while show up to have a sit down and a convo with our host. And this week is no different.

Brandon Travis returns to the airwaves to discuss life and what has been happening in his world. Brandon was last seen before Covid started in early 2020...now at the end of 2021 (almost 2 years later), he returns with stories! But this is not a light and cheery show...nope. Brandon requests that Mark go DARK in the studios for this one and they turn off all the lights and let the LED's bask the studio in a colorful glow! The Dark Show is born!

It's been a hell of a year and Brandon Travis is also aware of this. Starting the year out in Florida, Brandon saw life from a different perspective while down in the Sunshine state during this COVID pandemic.  Mark and Brandon start out by catching up but not before Mark picks the brain of Brandon about his Florida adventures and how the state handled their COVID perspective.

Next up, Mark makes sure that Mr. Travis knows that this popularity has grown immensely throughout the year and brings up this new idea that Let's Go Brandon was talking about him all along...Brandon definitely agrees to this!

Finally, it's christmas time and Mark wants to make sure that xmas is a part of the xmas week show...so Mark and Brandon dip into to discussing the past Christmas' and which ones were memorable and for what reasons. Plus Brandon tells us his amazing christmas story!

All this on this Christmas Edition of The Q 2021!

Dec 9, 2021

Mark welcomes Jonathan May and Tuffy Brandon back on the show! And an exciting and deep show it is!

First up, Mark and the guys discuss the Alec Baldwin bombshell interview where he claims he never pulled the trigger. To make a claim of that nature so publicly he would have to be telling the truth or else it's an immediate flamethrower to his entire life and career. But is he telling the truth. The gents discuss.

Next up is a discussion on reparations. Mark and Jonthan dive into a convo on reparations and whether they are deserved or not in 2021. But Mark and the guys dive even deeper discussing who is important for the reparations and if it's even possible to pull off in our current day and climate. But when this is done being discussed, all three men agree they talked about a lot more than other group of men have tried to work on in the entire time since 1865!

Finally....how important is Sex to a relationship? This and much more is discussed and answered on this amazing episode of the Q. One of the best in the past 490 shows!

Nov 30, 2021

Oh so much has happened. Rittenhouse has been freed. The guys in the Amhaud Arbery case are found guilty...and the focus of White people in the eye of the American justice system has been decided for now.

Andy Echele joins Mark this week to discuss many subjects and topics. First up Mark and Andy discuss the fallout from the Rittenhouse verdict. Why was it self defense? Was the Judge biased? Who benefitted from this other than Kyle Rittenhouse? Will people be able to just claim self defense now? All this is discussed and picked apart.

How different is today really from the past? Aside from social media, what about today is really different. Famous people existed in the past, so did non-famous ones. People in the world of sports today have platforms to speak out on, but they had the same ability to touch the masses in the past. Mark and Andy discuss many aspects of the past versus now and how things looked versus how they look today.

Finally there was a massacre in Waukesha, WI. Another story out of the state of Wisconsin where a man decided to run through a parade of people and kill multiples while injuring many others. Why was this man allowed out on lowered bails for similar acts in the past...leading up to people getting killed by him?  Mark and Andy tackle this powerful story and many others in this new Q show!

Nov 9, 2021

Welcome back to another episode of The Q. On this weeks show, Gary Weed and Mark Bland connect back up to discuss all the top news stories going on in the world.

No news story of the past week was more discussed than the story of 22 yr old Henry Ruggs of the Las Vegas Raiders NFL team. He decided to take his car home at 2am in the morning and run into a lady and her dog at....156 MPH!!!!!!! That's a nuts amount of speed. Mark and Gary break down all of this and discuss.

Next up...The Let's Go Brandon people are all up in arms that nobody cares about their joke. Mark and Gary discuss the "joke" and why the right is so dead set on the bad joke? Like conservative comedians, the jokes just seem to fall flat more and more.

Finally, Mark caught wind of a story about natural gas prices and a pipeline built to deliver natural gas from a city south of St. Louis, Mo up into Central north Illinois. Tons and tons of people benefit from this gas line and their is a plan to shut it down in december...walking into midwest winter. The gents discuss this and much more on this episode of The Q!

Nov 3, 2021

It's Halloween again and Mark brings on Q show normie Jason Kull to discuss what's happening in the world and where we are going!

First up Mark mentions he is involved with a new podcast called "Pardon My Podcast" with Bob Anders. Mark brings up he was asked who is the worst person on the Liberal side in media and the worst on the conservative side since Trump left office. Mark and Jay break down the people and their influence currently. Who do they pick, listen to find out!

Jason discusses that his favorite thing since 2021 has started is reading up on people that were deftly against Masks and Mandates, as well as the Covid Vaccine...just to see them get the vaccine and no bode so well with it. What kind of people purposely put themselves in harms way for no reason other than stupidity...well Jason lets all of us know!

Finally, Mark and Jason get into some Halloween talk. Movies and stories from their Halloween nights of the past. This leads to a break down of the Q crew and who would make it through a true haunted house or haunted place. Would Mark run? Does Bobby have the ability to handle the boo's? And what happens with Jonathan or Gary or Jason? Find out on this edition of The Q Halloween Show 2021!

Oct 5, 2021

Our next Tournament of Pop Culture has the best Summer Movies (movies based in or around summer) as we came live for Always Forward Media to the Urban Arts Expo at the BottomLine in Soulard, MO. Some true heavyweights of Film on this competition and will you agree with the winner? Did you pick it to go all the way. Well we break it down on this Tournament of Pop Culture.

Sep 23, 2021

Another exciting week on the Q. Mark Bland is joined this week by an old friend of the show and our co-host Gary Weed. The guest of the week is none other than Sam Arcobasso the head of Sarko Industries.

Sam came to us a few years back with an interesting story and has returned as a man of comfort and ease. Sarko is a company designed to put high end marketing professionals and businesses with clients looking to take their projects to the next level. Sam has been in the industry for a few years and and decided he could help businesses where others couldn't. From Hospitals to restaurants to everything in between, Sarko has been helping businesses for a while and successfully...which is what leads to the second topic.

With the ability to market to many places, Sam also wanted to start helping high school students close to graduating but needing that final credit to get the diploma. So with Sarko and including some great minds, Sam setup a HS graduation program and reached out to local schools to get it started. The students can come work like and intern for Sarko, gain their final credits and walk with their graduating class (which is a big deal for many students). Kirkwood School district has signed on and other schools are currently being talked with about the opportunity. Either way, a great way for kids to get help and learn...all this and more in the discussion about Sam's current doings.

Finally Gary, Mark and Sam discuss some world politics and stories, shortly before finding out that Sam doesn't believe in the government as a body for the people and to help the people. This turns into a discussion about political beliefs and what people should focus on rather than not focus on.

An amazing episode of the Q all primed up and ready!

Sep 7, 2021

This is an interesting show. First up Mark and Jonathan May welcome Tuffy Brandon to the show to discuss the current stories of the day.

First up, the guys breakdown some common misconceptions about race and culture in 2021. Mark and Tuffy discuss prejudice and racism, helping map it out better for people out there that might not understand the focus and reasoning for why they boxed and framed the way they are in society.

This leads to the Trump supporters and conservatives newest favorite thing to do....taking Ivermectin, aka Horse Dewormer. Joe Rogan the well known podcaster and UFC host recently went online to explain that he had Covid 19 and was taking ivermectin to kill it off. Of course, the information and proof that it works is always up in the air, because anything that works, gets rerouted into a money making medicine that the FDA approves for the corporations. This is how Mark and the guys know that this Ivermectin is not working at all.

Mark knows all this talk always leads down one road in non-election years...taking the stories and things happening and trying to make the president look like a bad guy. It was much less difficult with Trump since he shot himself in the foot more than anyone could, but with Biden they are throwing everything at him hoping something will sick similar to Obama. Mark realizes that conservatives hate people that are squeaky clean because it means only they (conservatives) are thinkers of bad decisions and ideas.

Finally as with all new guests, Tuffy plays on the Hot Seat to a bevy of questions that he didn't see coming. This leads to more interesting discussions! All of this and much much more on this new episode of the Q show! WHEW!

Aug 26, 2021

On this new episode of the Q, St. Louis funnyman and actor Jonathan May joins to discuss the Afghanistan take over by the Taliban.

First up Mark and Jonathan discuss the take over of Afghanistan by the Taliban! As with anything within touching distance of Trump, this entire thing wreaks of bad Trump decisions and trying to leave people holding the bag. The soldiers in the field were already living and working in Afghanistan, so this is nothing new for them. It's new to people in the USA on social media. So the men discuss in realms of American voters and what they should be paying attention to.

Next up, the guys discuss the anti-vaccine people and how their decisions are affecting the day to day life of people in America. Mark forgets his friends name but that brings up the fact that many people are crazy with their hatred of the vaccine. Jonathan brings up Chet Hanks and how his father couldn't possibly be proud to be associated with his son. This leads to a discussion about people that are conspiracy theorists and how they never grab on to educated science in life.

Finally, Mark wants to discuss diversity in media and specifically brings up this past Olympics coverage by NBC and how he is noticing it more and more with the panels of people they are choosing. But things take years to slowly implement and is this being shoved down peoples throats, or are we there now? Mark gets surprised by some info from Mr. May and it may make him understand better. You decide. All this and more from this episode of the Q.

Aug 11, 2021

On this episode of the Q.....

Mark is joined by Gary Weed and Jason Kull for this romp through life in 2021....on this episode:

Facebook Jail is an issue for many and they have discussed it multiple times on the show...but this is the current set of stories and reasons why our favorite guests in their current time-outs!

Simone Biles has already achieved more than many in her sport ever will. The consumate professional, she decided to back out of a few olympic events at the last moment. The world went into backlash mode with many accusing her of being weak and taking a spot from someone that deserved it. The guys discuss all of it and the backlash too.

And Finally, Mark cam across a unique post that alluded to something in the Mormon religion. He wasn't sure about it, but decided "hey WTF, why not" and brought it out in the open on the show. Needless to say, it is worth your listening to it. From there things go off the rails but in a good way. And remember we are not prejudice towards any religion or people....but funny is always gonna be funny.

Jul 28, 2021

Mark made a decision not to long ago to come back to the sport of Professional Wrestling and this episode just goes through some things he's thought about on his way back into the business. Mark invited Marcus Boston to join him on this forray into discussion and some of the things he's working on.

But not all is lost....Jen Psaki is the press secretary for Joe Biden. And his team is not taking any guff from anyone when it comes to painting things with a veiled brush. Psaki took it to Steve Doocy from Fox News about his way of spinning a question to make it look evil, when in all honesty it is a common thing. Check out the discussion on between Mark and Marcus on that accord. Plus, Trump taking pot shots and they are failing constantly.

Next up is the fact Mark noticed recently that kids don't have favorite commercials like we had growing up prior to 2010. All they know are the commercials that interrupt their Youtube and some late night infomercials. Marcus and Mark take a dive and discuss these things.

But this finally leads to Mark showing how indelible life really is and Mark challenges Marcus to listen to some classic TV shows themes and figure out if he knew them or not. Do you know them...probably...but it's always fun finding out again!

Jul 22, 2021

We have a fun thing we have been doing for years on the Q called the Tournament of Pop Culture.

When we were approached by Always Forward Media for some live shows, we decided to break out the format and try it in front of a live crowd. It worked great and people have been asking for more ever since.

On this first live forray, Mark Bland and Gary Weed host the Best Will Smith Movie as their first attempt. So many great movies to choose from and what Mark originally thought was a easy slam dunk...turned into quite the TOPC.

So listen and enjoy....and what do you think is the movie that the people voted on? Also do you agree? What movie surprised you?
All this and much more in this first ever LIVE Tournament of Pop Culture.

Jul 7, 2021

Southwest Owes Me for sure. Mark comes home fresh from one of the bigger vacations him and the family has been on for the first time since before Covid. Mark took the kids to Disney World but the Trip did not get off on the right note and Mark is here to spill all the tea on that situation and put Southwest Airlines in their place.

On top of that, Jonathan May joins the show to discuss the Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul boxing match, and the upcoming Woodley vs. Jake Paul fight. Did it live up to the hype that they portrayed in the media...the guys talk about that.

Coming out of Covid, a ton of businesses are finding it tough to staff and fill voids left by the year and half long Covid downturn. Is this the CEO's faults and business owners...OR....are people being more lazy now and is it because of government payouts? Should companies waste there time on trying to lure in new people or spend the time to keep the loyal trained employees happy. The guys discuss this and every aspect.

Jun 7, 2021

Since becoming partnered with the Always Forward Media Group, Mark Bland and The Q have some cool things planned.

On this episode of the Q, we debut the show called Another Fxcking Monday. Monday's are different for everyone and everyone has differing mondays in their lives. Some people's Mondays start on Thursday, for others it just the typical Monday is Monday....regardless there is a whole week worth of work that has to be done on your Monday!

First up Marcus Boston and Mark Bland discuss Pride months and their value to society in 2021. Who can have one, who can't and why it all matters anyway. This is is a deep discussion on race and religion and all of it, but it's a discussion deep with conversation and worthy of your ears to make you think.

This leads to a discussion on reparations and how they should be handled in the USA, if they happen at all. Who should get paid? What makes this person worthy and that family not? Mark and Marcus tackle these hard hitting questions!

Finally, Mark and Marcus discuss how people and 2021 should be viewed in the annuls of history. Were we better people? Were we worse people? Was all the in-fighting and insurrection stuff worthwhile or a expensive waste of time?

All this and more will be answered on this special episode of The Q!

May 13, 2021

Jonathan May and Mark Bland decide to tackle some cultural things like they are used to discussing.

First up Mark has an issue with people coming after him for discussing the Semantic aspect of a online convo he was having recently. People accused him of being insensitive because he discussed the definitions and primitive language of past time periods and how words were and weren't used in specific times. Was he in the wrong, you decide after listening.

Next Mark presents Jon with some Shower thoughts....things that make you go hmmm... and make you think deeper about some things in your world you might not have been thinking about!

Finally, Jon and Mark take on the listeners and their thoughts they write out to Mark on a weekly basis. Sometimes they say amazing things that everyone can agree with...but other times they say things that make you go Hmmm...but the gents break down all the thoughts and ideas and bring you the funny on this new episode of the Q!

May 6, 2021

Oh another amazing week and another amazing Q show.

Producer Bobby and Jason Kull drop by to discuss all the happenings in the world. The show starts off discussing the recent Always Forward Media get together and how the Tournament of Pop Culture went over so well! This leads to a discussion about Will Smith movies, but not giving away the winner, some of what was discussed on the taping of that TOPC!

Next the guys get into discussing the St. Louis side of things and why they constantly gravitate towards propping up horrible people locally. Whether it be a Josh Hawley or a Leonard Little, or whoever...from the media to the papers, to the online side...STL loves propping up the worst offenders and leaving the decent people by the wayside for a few clicks. But if they worked to promote decent shows like The Q or Journey through LBS, or any other decent program...the notoriety from the market would Triple!

Finally this walks into a discussion about facebook jail and how many people are posting about it. But, as Mark states, is this some attack on morals? Or....is facebook just putting a face and name to people who are too scared to commit offline crime, but willing to show who they really are online? Maybe the people deserve the jail. The guys discuss this and much more on the Q!
